Texas Officials Criticized Biden Regime Over Failed Border Security Policies

During an interview on Steve Bannon’s “War Room,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton blamed the Biden regime for teaming up with cartels to increase illegal immigration.

“There may not be a written accusation that says that, but in fact, yes, that’s exactly what they’re doing,” Paxton declared

He continued further by declaring, “They [the Biden administration] have turned our border into a place where the cartels know that they can basically drop people off, and they’re not trying to hide anymore.”

On top of that, Paxton stated that while the cartels used to surreptitiously cross the border under all other regimes, now they go directly to border patrol and are getting paid per person who is let loose on the other side of the border.

During a recently aired Fox News interview, Texas Governor Greg Abbott said that what the Texas government is doing is very simple when it comes to border security. “The Biden administration has really truly abdicated its responsibility to secure the border and enforce the laws. Texas, very simply, is securing the border. And so we’ve put up the razor wire that we’re talking about, Bill, and we’ve put up all these barricades that actually have denied illegal entry,” he added.

On January 25, 2024, Abbott made a post on X where he declared that “Texas has a constitutional right to defend and protect itself. We will continue to hold the line.”

This post came at a time when border patrol agents are currently attempting to gain access to Shelby Park in Eagle Pass and slash the Texas state government’s concertina wire fencing. However, as a response, Texas set up more razor wire fencing along the border as part of its Operation Lone Star program.

Per CNN, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) urged the Texas state government to grant it “full access” to the border park by January 26.

In a letter that had a send date of January 14, DHS General Counsel Jonathan Meyer stated, “I am writing to demand that Texas immediately cease and desist any actions taken by the State that block Border Patrol’s full access to the U.S.-Mexico border in and around the Shelby Park area.”

“We demand that Texas cease and desist its efforts to block Border Patrol’s access in and around the Shelby Park area and remove all barriers to access in the Shelby Park area,” the letter added.

Texas has still stood strong at the southern border, with 25 Republican governors nationwide supporting this effort.

The Biden regime merits massive criticism for its civilization-destroying agenda of open borders. Texas is in the right for taking matters into its own hands and securing the border. We live in an era where the federal government has no interest in securing the border.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, So states will need to follow in Texas’ footsteps and secure their borders.
