Texas Republican Chairman Allen West Calls on Texans to Reject Democrats’ Radical Open Borders Agenda

Since assuming the position of Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas earlier this year, retired Army Lieutenant Army Colonel Allen West has made his presence felt in Texas politics.

Unlike the flaccid political leadership that preceded him, West is outspoken about Democrats’ radical open borders agenda.

He tweeted on October 21, 2020, “No one in Texas should vote Democrat. It is the party of open borders, decriminalizing illegal border crossing, sanctuary cities for illegals, abolishing ICE, which allows criminal illegal immigrants, along w/human&sex trafficking, to operate freely.”

In his tweet, he shared a link to a Fox News article titled “Border Patrol arrests nearly 300 illegal immigrants in 18 hours.”

This story referred to an incident where U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas teamed up with local law enforcement to arrest approximately 300 suspected illegal aliens during an 18-hour window last week, as reported by law enforcement.

U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas, with the help of local law enforcement, arrested nearly 300 suspected illegal immigrants in a span of 18 hours last week, according to law enforcement reports.

Agents raided and closed down stash houses in addition to busting suspected smuggling attempts in four separate incidents that saw a total of 294 individuals apprehended for making an attempt to sneak into the U.S.

According to the law enforcement account of the situation, at least 90 of the people placed in custody came from countries outside of Mexico.

“In all of the incidents, none of the individuals were wearing any personal protective equipment,” U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recounted. “These callous and dangerous acts are several examples of the lack of regard human smugglers have for those they exploit for profit.”

The Texas GOP scored a big win by choosing Allen West as its leader. After years of disappointment on issues such as Constitutional Carry, the Texas GOP is in need of a major facelift when it comes to its political leadership. Thanks to how competitive Texas has become, the GOP must come on point during election season. This means that it must have its most energetic members on board from the start. And it could do so by having a leader that talks about hot button issues such as guns and putting the clamps on mass migration.
