Texas authorities are planning to bring charter buses loaded with illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C. in the near future.

Governor Greg Abbott unveiled the plan on Wednesday, blasting the Biden administration for flooding rural Texas towns with “hordes of illegal immigrants.”

In response to the Biden Administration’s decision to relax the pandemic border limitations known as Title 42 on May 23, Abbott conducted a press conference on Wednesday.

The state of Texas has been swamped as a result of the record number of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border into the United States, and Gov. Abbott is fearful that the issue will worsen.

With Title 42 about to be repealed, the federal government expects up to 18,000 illegal immigrants to enter the country each day, totaling more than half a million every month.

At his press conference, Gov. Abbott said “We have potentially more people who will be crossing our border illegally by the end of this year than live in Los Angeles, America’s second-largest city.

To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants – who have been dropped off by the Biden administration – to Washington DC,” said Abbot to reporters in Weslaco.

We are sending them to the United States capital where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people they are allowing to cross our border.

According to Fox News, the illegals will be dropped off at the foot of the Capitol Building’s steps, and state officials are prepared to deploy as many buses as necessary.

Abbott also revealed intentions to “perform expanded safety inspections of automobiles when they cross international points of entry into Texas,” in addition to his plans to transport illegal immigrants to D.C.

He also stated that the state would take steps to stop illegal immigrants from entering the country, such as “deploying boat blockades” and “deploying razor wire in low-water crossings.”

Additionally, the National Guard will begin its first phase of mass migration rehearsals tomorrow to begin the preparation for what we are anticipating to be a potential mass influx of people coming across the border,” added Abbott. “All troopers and specially trained National Guard will be equipped with riot gear in case of potential caravan violence, like what we have all seen occur in Mexico as the caravans were making their way toward the United States.

Abbott’s decision comes as the United States grapples with a deteriorating southern border and a slew of economic woes, including sky-high gas costs.
