The Biden Regime Uses Military Aid to Twist Israel’s Arm During the Hamas Conflict

A report by Israeli media outlet Haaretz shows that the Biden regime is using the deployment of weapons as a form of leverage against Israel during its military conflict with Hamas.

In fact, the hard ball tactics the Biden regime has used with military aid to Israel is used as a means for it to influence Israel’s military decisions in Gaza.

Since Hamas launched an attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, the IDF has expended thousands of bombs and shells in its punitive military campaign against Hamas. These munitions are largely supplied by the US .

With talks about Israel opening a second front in Lebanon against militant group Hezbollah, there’s now increased pressure for the Biden regime to supply Israel with more weapons.

The Biden regime recently moved a deal forward through an emergency procedure that circumvented Congress in order to provide Israel with thousands of tank shells. The Biden regime also urged Congress to approve a $14 billion military aid package for Israel.

This package has largely been held up due to ongoing clashes between Democrats and Republicans  over immigration, which has delayed all budget requests from the Biden regime. Such gridlock has worried authorities in Israel.

More curiously, the Biden regime has delayed the transfer of thousands of firearms to Israel, owing to a fear that these armaments will wind up under the control of radical Jewish settlers who routinely commit violence against Palestinians in the West Bank.

The main fear is that these weapons will end up going to National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, the leader of the hard-Right Jewish Power party, who would subsequently send those weapons to the radical settlers he represents. The Biden regime is not convinced that Israel is taking the necessary steps to prevent such weapons from falling into the wrong hands.

Overall, Israel is beginning to face pushback from the US, as its military campaign in Gaza grows more controversial and unsavory figures on the Israeli hard Right grow more prominent in Israeli politics. These factors could eventually change the very nature of Israeli-American relations.

At the end of the day, the US should end its “special relationship” with Israel and opt for a path of neutrality in foreign affairs, especially in the Middle East. In this case, America First nationalists are the only political actors who can greatly accelerate this trend.
