The Candace Owens Moment: MAGA Is Breaking Down Democrat Racial Division Once and For All

MAGA movement visionary Candace Owens delivered another victory for President Donald Trump’s America Tuesday in front of Congress as her likeminded patriots rack up an impressive streak of wins.

Robert Mueller is defeated, the national emergency for the Wall is upheld with a presidential veto of both parties in Congress, China is forking over more than a trillion dollars for American-made goods, and Herman Cain might very well be nominated for the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

But Candace’s smackdown of Democrats Jerry Nadler and Ted Lieu and others — who clearly underestimated her potential to throw down a drop-the-mic worldwide Truth bomb — is an endzone spike that truly matters. Candace Owens broke the fourth wall and kicked down the 2-D Narrative, announcing that we in the MAGA movement don’t have to play by their rules anymore.

Because America cannot be divided.

The Democrats — clinging to their mealy-mouthed defense of blackface or KKK-festooned governor Ralph Northam and blackface-wearing attorney general Mark Herring — and chastened by their Jussie Smollett hoax, which Chris Rock shamed them for, have pretty much nothing left.

Their game is Narrative, and their narrative for so long was that Trump supporters are racists. But they couldn’t pin that tag on the Covington Catholic kids, and they can’t pin it on Trump’s America anymore. The American people are too smart.

Populism — like the kind practiced by President Trump’s movement — is the collective realization of an energy that all people innately have, especially in America. And while the system tries to crush our spirit, our spirit will always push back.

The American people have the weapon of Truth. The dividers in the media and the political system can only cling desperately to the purse strings of fear.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote in his “Antidotes for Fear” (a quality that Candace has none of):

Normal fear protects us; abnormal fear paralyzes us. Normal fear motivates us to improve our individual and collective welfare; abnormal fear constantly poisons and distorts our inner lives. Our problem is not to be rid of fear but rather to harness and master it…

Courage and cowardice are antithetical. Courage is an inner resolution to go forward in spite of obstacles and frightening situations; cowardice is a submissive surrender to circumstance. Courage breeds creative self-affirmation; cowardice produces destructive self-abnegation. Courage faces fear and thereby masters it; cowardice represses fear and is thereby mastered by it. Courageous men never lose the zest for living even though their life situation is zestless; cowardly men, overwhelmed by the uncertainties of life, lose the will to live. We must constantly build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear…

“Hate is rooted in fear, and the only cure for fear-hate is love…

Hatred and bitterness can never cure the disease of fear; only love can do that. Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illumines it.”

Dr. King passage ends

I want to finish here with the words of a man named H.K. Edgerton, a black man in a Confederate uniform who stood guard at the Silent Sam memorial in North Carolina when leftists tore that statue down. He refused to accept the Democrat media narrative that seeks to divide us. Candace Owens shared this man’s message to the world, and I’m grateful.

As their Narrative breaks down, we are left with an abiding Truth. We are left with a common purpose. We are left with souls — bloodied and battered, perhaps, but resilient by the grace of God. And brave citizens who light our path in the darkness…
