Top Airline CEOs Write Letter to Biden Regime Demanding an End to Senseless COVID Mask Mandates

CEOs from 10 top airline companies have issued a letter to President-imposed Joe Biden demanding an end to senseless COVID-19 mask mandates on airplanes.

The industry organization Airlines for America wrote to Biden stating, “now is the time for the Administration to sunset federal transportation travel restrictions — including the international predeparture testing requirement and the federal mask mandate — that are no longer aligned with the realities of the current epidemiological environment.”

The letter was signed by the CEOs of Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways (JBLU), Delta Air Lines (DAL), American Airlines (AAL), Southwest Airlines (LUV), United Airlines (UAL), Atlas Air Worldwide, FedEx Express, and UPS Airlines.

“The high level of immunity in the U.S., availability of high-quality masks for those who wish to use them, hospital-grade cabin air, widespread vaccine availability and newly available therapeutics provide a strong foundation for the Administration to lift the mask mandate and predeparture testing requirements. We urge you to do so now,” the CEOs wrote in their letter.

“We are requesting this action not only for the benefit of the traveling public, but also for the thousands of airline employees charged with enforcing a patchwork of now-outdated regulations implemented in response to COVID-19,” they concluded.

Big League Politics has reported on liberty-loving Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) leading the effort to end illegal and unconstitutional mask mandates on flights:

A group of Republicans in Congress filed a lawsuit Monday against the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), calling for the agency to no longer force masks during air travel. This comes after The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced Thursday that they would extend the current forced masking order for public transportation through April 18th at the very least.

The lawsuit was brought forth by Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, who was joined by sixteen other Republicans. The lawsuit, Massie et al v. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, seeks to end government-imposed rules forcing Americans to wear masks when traveling on commercial airlines…

It remains unknown how the CDC was ever able to exercise the legal authority to forcibly cover the mouths of Americans. There currently remains not a single law in the United States mandating mask-wearing on any form of public transportation.

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not have the legal authority to force people traveling on commercial airlines to wear masks,” Massie said in a statement. “Congress never passed a law requiring masks on commercial flights. This lawsuit targets the faceless bureaucrats who are behind the CDC’s unscientific regulation so that this illegal mask mandate can be brought to a permanent end.”

The Daily Caller reported that House Republicans introduced a House companion to Paul’s Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution that disapproves of the CDC’s mask mandate for public transportation back in February.

“I’ve been leading the charge in the Senate to end these unscientific, unconstitutional mask mandates, and am proud to continue the fight by joining Rep. Massie on this effort,” Paul said in a statement.

Congressman Massie has remained defiant in the face of draconian government rule for quite some time. The Kentucky representative famously (or notoriously depending on who is being asked) took a bold stance against Pelosi‘s continued nonsensical House mask mandate last May.

Even the corporate elite is turning against COVID-19 restrictions, vindicating what the skeptics to the hysteria have been saying for years. The Biden regime’s mandates are to compel submission among the masses and have nothing to do with protecting public health.
