Traitor Rep. Mike Rogers Demands Help From Democrats to Elect a New Speaker of the House
Congressman Mike Rogers (R-AL) is running to the Democrats and begging for their help in getting a new House Speaker put into command after the recent ouster of disgraced loser Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
Republicans have had major problems in replacing McCarthy, with Reps. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) failing to garner the necessary support among their caucus to become Speaker. This has resulted in the cowardly Mike Rogers with his tail between his legs running to Democrats to beg for their help.
“We’re willing to work with them, but they gotta tell us what they need,” Rogers said, asking for House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY to bail his pathetic party out.
“To limit ourselves to just getting 217 out of our conference I think is not a wise path forward,” Rogers added, calling the Republicans who voted to hold McCarthy accountable “traitors” who “put us in this position” and “paralyzed” the House.
House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA) has indicated that Democrats are interested in inserting themselves into the process and getting more power working with RINO coward Republicans to select the next Speaker.
“That is going to be up to our caucus to make that decision, but our door is open,” she said.
“There are informal conversations that have been underway. When we get back to Washington tomorrow, it’s important to begin to formalize those discussions,” Jeffries stated during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday.
Jeffries made it clear that his top priority is to make sure that America First Republicans are disenfranchised and business and usual continues in the Washington D.C. swamp.
“The current rules of the House have facilitated a handful of Republicans being able to determine what gets voted on in the House of Representatives and that undermines the interests of the American people. We can change the rules to facilitate bipartisanship and that should be the starting point of our conversation,” Jeffries said.
Constitutional liberty-oriented Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) expressed his dismay that many Republicans are cowering and groveling beneath Democrats rather than getting their act in order.
“Some Republicans want to cut a deal with Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries to elect a Speaker,” Massie said in a tweet. “With Democrats controlling the White House and the Senate, we must not give up control of the House. Republicans should unite behind Jim Jordan as our Speaker of the House!”
Republicans who collude with the Democrats are showing the true nature of the Uni-party. They must be destroyed in primary elections and replaced with true America First Republicans next year.
