The energy was high at CPAC Dallas after Former President Trump spoke at the conference Saturday. He notably praised the notion of the American people rising up against merciless elites, telling an energetic crowd “We want to be populists. We want to run our country. Trump took time during his speech to acknowledge to support those of the liberty movement who have backed Ron and Rand Paul. He joked about his relationship with the Pauls, telling the audience, “Ron is a little different, a little different, like Rand… Rand can be difficult.”
