Trump In Ohio: ‘This November We’re Going to Win Really Big’

President Donald J. Trump spoke at a GOP dinner in Ohio on Friday night, focusing on theme winning the House and Senate in November.

“This November we’re going to win really big,” Trump said. “Over the last 19 months we achieved more than anyone thought possible. Our economy is absolutely booming, jobs are searching, factories are returning, steel is doing better than any industry, just about anywhere in this country, anywhere in this world.”

Trump touted the success of the tariffs that he placed on foreign countries, which have resulted in the growth of the manufacturing industry in the United States. Soon, he said, the manufacturers in America will be competing with each other, rather than with cheap foreign labor.

“America is winning again,” he said. “America is being respected again because we are finally putting America first.”

“So we must work every day until November to elect more Ohio Republican so we can continue to make America great again. Has anyone ever heard that slogan?” Trump joked.

The President bashed Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), who will face a tough opponent in November, Rep. Jim Renacci (R-OH).

“Sherrod voted ‘no’ on our tax cuts, he voted ‘no’ on repealing Obamacare, he voted ‘no’ on Neil Gorsuch, how do you do that? First in his class at Harvard, first in his class at Oxford, ‘I’ll take a no vote’ – I don’t think so,” Trump said, berating Brown.

“Sherrod Brown voted for the liberal Obama judges who want to take away your Second Amendment, and just today he actually came out against [Supreme Court nominee] Judge Kavanaugh – that’s terrible,” Trump said. “Sherrod Brown voted for the deadly and terrible sanctuary cities.

Trump went on to say that a vote for any Democrat is a vote for Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and the “legendary” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) whom he described as the “de facto head of the Democratic Party.”

“You have left-wing haters and radicals trying to tear down our institutions, disrespect our great American flag, demean our law enforcement, denigrate your history, and disparage our great country,” he said.

“With your help Ohio will carry the hopes and dreams of the American people all the way to victory this November,” Trump concluded. “We will never give in. We will never give up. And we will never stop fighting to make America great again.
