Trump Sinks Another Hole-In-One

Former President Donald J. Trump reportedly sunk a hole-in-one at a golf club in Georgia around noon yesterday.

Tim Swain, a Trump-endorsed South Carolina US Senate candidate, tweeted from his official campaign Twitter account at 12:13 p.m. with the caption “TRUMP JUST MADE A HOLE-IN-ONE!” In the accompanying picture, Trump is seen with Swain but also with Hall of Fame golfer Ernie Els and former PGA Tour players Ken Dukes and Gene Sauers.

President Trump, a well-known golfer, has made a hole-in-one before. In the 1983 Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the future president nailed the par three 12th hole. The hole was reportedly 180 yards away and Trump hit it with a five-iron with hundreds witnessing in-person and thousands on television.

Trump was in the Peach State to speak at a 7 p.m. “Save America” rally at the Banks County Dragway in Commerce which featured his two endorsed Georgia US Senate candidates: former NFL star Herschel Walker and former Senator David Perdue. Firebrand Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Greene also spoke in support.

According to the president’s website, the “Save America” rally series is organized by Save America JFC (joint fundraising committee) for Trump to support his roster of candidates for this year’s midterm races. A joint fundraising committee is created by two or more candidates, PACs or party committees to share the costs of fundraising and split the proceeds between the involved entities.

“Save America JFC” is a joint fundraising committee of the “Save America” and the “Make America Great Again” PACs, both created by Trump. The “Save America” PAC was created by the president following the 2020 presidential election.

According to Trump’s website, he has two more “Save America” rallies planned on Saturday, April 2 in Washington, MI and on Saturday, April 9 in Selma, NC.
