Tucker BLASTS Mainstream Media For Airing Jan. 6 ‘Show Trial’ During Primetime Hours Instead Of ‘Real Issues’ Plaguing Americans Today
The mainstream media has started airing the public trial of House Speaker Pelosi’s Jan. 6 select committee during primetime news hours. But not everyone is buying into the propaganda.
They want you to talk about January 6, 2021 so you won't talk about June 10, 2022.

As Ben Shapiro wrote on Twitter, “They want you to talk about January 6, 2021 so you won’t talk about June 10, 2022.” In other words, this “show trial” is being seen and called out by those in alternative media for what it is; a way to distract the American people from all the disasters currently plaguing the nation today.
“This is not America,” former Congresswoman and Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard declared on Tucker Carlson Thursday night.
“Why are the news networks colluding with a political party to tell us this is the most important thing?” Carlson asked of his guest.
In response, Gabbard said this: “Because whether you’re talking about the mainstream media or you’re talking about Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, or Congress, frankly, they don’t care about the real threats that we face domestically to our freedoms and our democracy.”
“Instead, they’re focusing on this [show trial],” she added. “They don’t want to deal with the real issues that Americans are struggling with every day across the country: increasing inflation, rising gas prices, increasing crime, open borders.”
Carlson called out broadcast news networks for airing Jan. 6 “propaganda” too. He argued that they “can’t be bothered” to cover any of the real issues of today because they are lying and hoping other outlets with follow suit and play along.
“The whole thing is insulting. In fact, it’s deranged and we’re not playing along,” the Fox News host said.
“What we will do, instead, is to try to tell you the truth. We’ve attempted to do that since the day this happened. We hated seeing vandalism at the US Capitol a year and a half ago, and we said so at the time.” Carlson insisted. “But we did not think it was an insurrection. Because it was not an insurrection. It was not even close to an insurrection.”
He then went on to reiterate that not a single person in the crowd on Jan. 6 was carrying a firearm. He also said that the only person who was killed at the event was Ashley Babbitt, an unarmed protester. She was shot to death by a US Capitol Hill police officer.

So while other mainstream media outlets try to put lipstick on the pig that is Jan. 6, Tucker Carlson alongside his colleagues at Fox News intends on delivering the news the majority of Americans care far more about.
The much larger issues that are currently facing the United States, as Carlson pointed out, are high gas prices, an increase in drug overdoses, the economy careening towards a recession, and the US being on the brink of a nuclear war.
