Turning Point USA Holds Successful Kyle Rittenhouse Event at Kent State Despite Leftist Campus Rage
Turning Point USA held a successful event featuring 2nd Amendment hero Kyle Rittenhouse as a speaker at Kent State University in Ohio on Tuesday night in spite of major pushback from leftist agitators on campus.

Leftists attempted to protest the event, even having a press conference with one of the leftist agitators who was shot by Kyle Rittenhouse in self-defense during the ANTIFA/Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha:

Big League Politics has reported on Rittenhouse’s efforts to defeat gun control following his acquittal in his murder trial:
“On July 23, 2023, Second Amendment activist Kyle Rittenhouse filed paperwork for a newly created foundation titled “The Rittenhouse Foundation.” It’s a non-profit that “protects human and civil rights secured by law, including an individual’s inalienable right to bear arms” and “ensures the Second Amendment is preserved through education and legal assistance.”
The foundation’s directors are Rittenhouse, Texas Gun Rights President Chris McNutt and Shelby Griesinger, the treasurer for Defend Texas Liberty PAC, a political action committee dedicated to upholding the interests of grassroots conservatives in the Lone Star State. The law firm of Tony McDonald is the foundation’s registered agent. For years, this law firm represented Empower Texans and other conservative organizations in the state.
On August 16, Defend Texas Liberty leader Jonathan Stickland posted a photo on X, previously known as Twitter, with Rittenhouse.
“Let me end the speculation,” Stickland said in an X post.
“Most conservative boss out there!” replied Rittenhouse.
Rittenhouse moved to the Lone Star State in 2022 after being acquitted of homicide charges in the fatal shooting of two radical leftist agitators at a 2020 protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Since then, Rittenhouse has ramped up his political involvement in Texas.
Back in May, Rittenhouse teamed up with Texas Gun Rights in standing against a House bill that would have increased the minimum age to buy semi-automatic rifles from 18 to 21.
Rittenhouse notably backed Brandon Herrera, a gun rights activist and a prominent YouTuber known as “The AK Guy” who is running against incumbent Texas Congressman Tony Gonzales. Gonzales is the representative of the district — Texas’ 23rd — where the 2022 Uvalde school shooting took place, and he was the only Texas Republican in the US House to vote in favor of a bipartisan gun control law afterward.”
This Rittenhouse event was a major victory for the 1st and 2nd Amendments of the Constitution. Turning Point USA and conservatives at Kent State University deserve credit for not backing down.
