Turning Point USA Sends a Strong Message to the Republican Party Establishment at America Fest

From December 16 to December 19, conservative organization Turning Point USA celebrated its third AmericaFest conference.
Kicking off in 2021, AmericaFests have served as a hub for students and adults alike to congregate and exchange right-wing ideas, while also listening to some of the most prominent speakers in the modern-day conservative movement.
This year’s conference proved to be no less explosive than those in years prior. TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk used his bully pulpit during a speech he gave on December 16, 2023 to call out Republican Party leadership, namely, the Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel for their inability to turn the party into a political juggernaut.
In his speech, Kirk demanded that the GOP be remade into a “grassroots party from the bottom-up”. Moreover, he called for the expulsion of Republicans in the mold of failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney and former House Speaker Paul Ryan from the party “once and for all.”

The TPUSA founder capped off his speech by declaring that “Ronna McRomney has to resign as chair of the RNC. She has got to resign.”

Kirk’s anti-establishment energy caught the attention of Citizens Alliance CEO and long-time liberty conservative operative Cliff Maloney.
On X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter, Maloney stated the following:

TPUSA has emerged as the most credible student organization on the nationalist Right. Its willingness to confront GOP leadership and challenge it on issues ranging from mass migration to foreign policy, demonstrates a growing dissident energy emerging among young right-wingers.
For America’s youth who are tired of politics as usual and desire moving public policy in a right-wing direction, TPUSA is the organization to join and/or partner up with.
