Twitter’s Top Lawyer Cried Over Buyout. Musk Slams The Hypocrisy.
According to a Politico report, Twitter’s top lawyer, Vijaya Gadde, cried during a virtual meeting about how Elon Musk’s recent buyout would impact the company.
“Gadde cried during the meeting as she expressed concerns about how the company could change,” Politico reported on Tuesday. “She acknowledged that there are significant uncertainties about what the company will look like under Musk’s leadership.”
Musk then took to Twitter to call out Gadde’s hypocrisy, by dubbing the suppression of Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2022 election as “obviously incredibly inappropriate.”
Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate

This wasn’t the only time Musk weighed in on the political left’s outrage.
He also responded to a meme on Tuesday that featured corporate press NPCs announcing their anger in unison for the recent Musk buyout.
Musk then chimed in: “Can someone please give the NPCs a bigger dialogue tree!?”

Somewhat hilariously, the corporate press and left-wing talking heads have begun smearing Musk for simply advocating for free speech.
As podcaster Benny Johnson put it, “the Left Wing Media is accusing [Musk] of wanting to do exactly what they did. Projection at its finest.”
According to the self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist” himself, Musk shared his views on the subject in a recent tweet thread: “The extreme antibody reaction from those who fear free speech says it all.”
“By “free speech”, I simply mean that which matches the law,” he continued. “I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law. If people want less free speech, they will ask the government to pass laws to that effect.”
It’s worth noting that this thread is currently pinned on Musk’s profile.
Of course, none of this matters to the left. They just lost control of Twitter – the nation’s public discourse propaganda machine – so they will now smear and apply political, not to mention government pressure, to regain power over the narrative however they can.
Take Elizabeth Warren for example, who has already come out and said this Musk Twitter deal is “dangerous for our democracy.”
This deal is dangerous for our democracy. Billionaires like Elon Musk play by a different set of rules than everyone else, accumulating power for their own gain. We need a wealth tax and strong rules to hold Big Tech accountable.

Or consider White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki for instance, who said on Monday “the Biden administration would support ‘reforming Section 230, enacting anti-trust reforms,’ and ‘requiring more transparency’ on social media in order to combat COVID-19 misinformation.”

In short, the reaction from the left has been predictably over-the-top. They cannot stand to see a free and open platform that they do not control. And they will stop at nothing to try and get it back.
It’s beautiful to see Musk isn’t taking any of this slander sitting down. Things are only going to ramp up – especially ahead of midterms.
