One instance occurred at a sexual assault seminar.

Two more women have accused former Vice President Joe Biden of making inappropriate contact with them, bringing his total number of accusers to four.

“Caitlyn Caruso, a former college student and sexual assault survivor, said Mr. Biden rested his hand on her thigh — even as she squirmed in her seat to show her discomfort — and hugged her “just a little bit too long” at an event on sexual assault at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas,” according to a New York Times report.

Caruso was 19 at the time. She is now 22.

“It doesn’t even really cross your mind that such a person would dare perpetuate harm like that,” she told The Times. “These are supposed to be people you can trust.”

Another woman, writer D.J. Hill, met Biden at a 2012 fundraiser in Minneapolis. She told The Times that the former vice president suspiciously moved his hand from her shoulder down her back during a photo opportunity, which she recounted making her “very uncomfortable.” Biden was apparently not subtle. Hill’s husband stepped in to ameliorate the awkwardness.

The first accusation of inappropriate contact was made public Friday, when Lucy Flores, formerly a nominee for lieutenant governor of Nevada, accused Biden of kissing her head and smelling her hair at a campaign rally.

A second accuser came forward Monday.

“It wasn’t sexual, but he did grab me by the head. He put his hand around my neck and pulled me in to rub noses with me. When he was pulling me in, I thought he was going to kiss me on the mouth,” Amy Lappos told the Hartford Courant.

That instance of inappropriateness occurred at a fundraiser.

Meanwhile, the mainstream press and Democratic Party politicians have downplayed Biden’s behavior. The Washington Post referred to it as “affectionate,” despite the fact that it formerly raved about “believing all women” in the #MeToo era.

The paper has a nasty habit of protection Democrats from sexual misconduct claims of any kind, having spiked a late 2017 story about Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax allegedly sexually assaulting Vanessa Tyson.

New York Young Republicans Call for Order After Chaos at the Capitol

Order Must be Restored

Published

on

On January 6, 2020 the New York Young Republican Club issued a statement calling for an instant restoration of law and order after protests  escalated at the United States Capitol.

The protests were originally in support of President Donald Trump and his efforts to challenge the results of an election marked by massive irregularities. Several protesters pushed the envelope by breaking into the Capitol and interrupting the Senate and House of Representatives proceedings.

The Republican organization issued the following statement on the incident:

The New York Young Republican Club consistently condemned lawlessness and disorder throughout 2020 perpetrated by Radical Left BLM and Antifa activists. We called out the Fake News Media and Democrat politicians who inculcated a culture of acceptance for “mostly peaceful protestors” who violated private property rights and destroyed livelihoods.

Today, what we see at the United States Capitol the result of American elites permitting general malaise to foment tangible destruction. We unequivocally condemn the interruption of Senate and House of Representatives proceedings. Anyone who breached the Capitol should be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law because destruction and vandalism of property cannot be permitted by any actor.

We are the party of Law and Order, and we expect citizens all to operate in accordance with these standards.

U.S. policymakers will have to take a long hard look in the mirror. The lack of leadership has created a vicious cycle of radicalization that is increasingly getting out of control. Such developments could put America’s political system on the ropes if not addressed properly.

On the Republican side, there must be a clean break during the 2022 primaries, where the overwhelming majority of incumbents should face nationalist challengers. The current leadership has clearly failed and must be replaced.
