UNITY: Democrats Agree With Republican Tax Cut Plan

Democratic Kentucky Rep. John Yarmuth said Wednesday that many Democrats would be willing to support a tax cut plan that involves lowering the corporate tax rate. Republicans and President Trump are currently pushing for such a plan.

Ohio Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan, a congressman from a pro-Trump swing state, is supporting Republican tax reform efforts.

Additionally, a CNN poll discovered that 68 percent of Americans want either a “complete overhaul” or “major changes” to the American tax code.
