Venezuelan Socialist Regime in Free-Fall as ‘President’ Juan Guaido Organizes Revolt

The Venezuelan streets have fallen into total chaos, as the regime of socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro may finally be crumbling.
US-backed Venezuelan ‘President’ Juan Guaido is making his move against the socialist regime today. He claims the military is firmly behind him as he attempts to officially seize control of the crumbling nation from Maduro.

“The armed forces have taken the right decision,” Guaido said. “With the support of the Venezuelan people and the backing of our constitution, they are on the right side of history.”
“The moment is now,” he said.
Leopoldo Lopez, a political prisoner who was recently freed from captivity by Venezuelan military officials, joined Guaido today to lend legitimacy to his actions.
“This is the moment of all Venezuelans, those in uniform and those who aren’t,” he said. “Everyone should come to the streets, in peace.”
But the streets look anything but peaceful as a potential revolution is underway.

Maduro’s forces were believed to spray gunfire at protesters today who began coalescing around soldiers who defected from the regime to get behind Guiado.

Although Maduro’s regime is hanging by a thread, he still has support in the military who believe that Guiado is a puppet for foreign interests.

“We reject this coup movement, which aims to fill the country with violence,” Maduro’s Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino said.
The Trump administration remains firmly behind Guaido’s actions.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin remains steadfastly in support of Maduro and hopes their weapon systems can help him maintain control.
