VIDEO: Black Trump Supporter Sucker-Punched Holding Milo Book

UPDATE: Following the publication of this report, Richard Losey was arrested and charged with suspicion of battery assault with a hate crime enhancement. He was held on $50,000 bail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A counter-protester sucker-punched a black Trump supporter at Sunday night’s America First: Vigil for Victims of illegal immigration rally in Laguna Beach, California.

“I engaged a few people in dialogue but in scholarly dialogue as I try to do with the crew at these kinds of rallies,” R.C. Maxwell, the black man who was punched, told Big League Politics.

“The first time I was attacked it was a timed attack, someone tugged at my MAGA hat, then someone else hit me from behind and then tried to drag me into the street,” said Maxwell, who runs the American Voice PAC. He was carrying a copy of Milo Yiannopoulos’ book Dangerous as a means of protest.

“I’m no brute, never looking for fights at these things just the opportunity for dialogue, inform the other side of what our belief system is etc…,” Maxwell said.

“But obviously there is an uptick in violence at these things, and a republican, especially a black one, is a dangerous game in 2017,” Maxwell said.

This is getting completely out of hand.

The hysteria continues: eBay has banned the reselling of six Dr. Seuss books that will no longer be published due to “racist imagery,” saying that these listings now violate their policies.

eBay had emailed people who put the books up for sale early Thursday morning. With a subject line titled “Your listing was removed: Offensive material policy,” eBay’s email reads as follows:

We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our Offensive material policy. Listings that promote or glorify hatred, violence, or discrimination aren’t allowed.

Dr. Seuss Enterprises has stopped publication of this book due to its negative portrayal of some ethnicities. As a courtesy, we have ended your item and refunded your selling fees, and as long as you do not relist the item, there will be no negative impact to your account. Please review our Offensive Materials Policy prohibits this item for more information [sic].

The six books that Dr. Seuss Enterprises said they would no longer publish include And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, If I Ran the Zoo, McElligot’s Pool, On Beyond Zebra!, Scrambled Eggs Super!, and The Cat’s Quizzer.

Big League Politics reported Tuesday that a school district in northern Virginia stopped celebrating Dr. Seuss on Read Across America Day because of the “racial undertones” of such books. Although the district said they would not ban Dr. Seuss books from their libraries and classrooms, there’s no doubt they’ll consider removing the six books now considered irredeemably racist.

eBay is probably the first domino to fall. Expect Amazon and others to follow suit.
