WATCH: NBC Political Analyst Says Republican Moms Put Politics Ahead of Love for Gay Children

An NBC political analyst made a boneheaded analysis at the fourth annual Unconventional Political Conference, also known as Politicon on Saturday.

Anand Giridharadas, a former New York Times writer, had some harsh and sweeping criticisms of Republican mothers.

“We have become a country where Republican moms love their position over their gay sons,” he said.

Starting with the boneheaded premise that one cannot be both gay and Republican, Giridharadas actually believes that all Republican mothers would choose party loyalty over their own flesh and blood. Liberals truly believe that conservatives are evil people.
