Baltimore 13 Shot 6 Killed

In a wave of weekend violence, at least 13 people were shot and six killed in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, singled out by President Donald Trump as a hotbed of violence and urban decay over the weekend after Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) blasted the president for seeking to secure the southern border.

Local reports indicate the Boston Police Department responded to multiple shootings over the weekend in what amounts to a total of 13 people shot, and six killed. Among those impacted by the shootings is a 12-year-old boy.

From 1am Friday, until 3am Monday, 13 people including a 12-year-old boy were shot in the city. Six have died.

The first shooting was reported at 1am Friday in the 1700 block of N. Carey Street. A man was found with a gunshot wound to the head, he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Saturday, police responded to 6 shootings, with 8 victims, 3 of them did not survive.

At 1:13pm, Saturday officers were called to the 1700 block of McHenry Street for a ShotSpotter alert. They found a male with gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Two hours later officers in the Central district responded to a ShotSpotter alert on Laurens St and Pennsylvania Ave. That victim was rushed to an area hospital, his condition is not known.

The 12-year-old was shot Sunday, walking into a hospital at around 3:00 a.m. on Monday with a 19-year-old man. Both were shot, and both as expected to survive their injuries.

This weekend in Baltimore would seem to prove President Trump’s weekend point, when he took to Twitter to lambast Cummings for allowing his home district to fall into a state of violence and decay.

The pattern of violence does not seem exclusive to the weekend, as the violence continued from the early hours of Monday morning through the afternoon.

Earlier today, Big League Politics reported that a 24-year-old man was shot in broad daylight in the beleaguered city.

Big League Politics reported:

As the fake news media continues to call President Donald Trump racist for shining a light on the horrifying situation on the ground in Baltimore, Maryland, a shocking new story of a 24-year-old murdered in the city in broad daylight has emerged through local media.

Police are currently investigating a shooting in West Baltimore that left a 24-year-old murdered in broad daylight earlier today, showing the decline of the once prosperous city.

Indeed, before the media became dead set on rebuking President Trump and declaring him to be a racist at every opportunity, The Baltimore Sun previously agreed with his previous statement that Democrats have betrayed their cities and let them fall into disarray.

Joe Biden Nominates Liberal Activist Neera Tanden as Director of Office of Management and Budget; “Zero Chance of Being Confirmed”

Tanden is a controversial Democrat.

Democratic candidate Joe Biden announced his nomination of Center for American Progress President and controversial Democrat Neera Tanden as Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Biden is yet to be certified as the rightful president-elect pending the outcome of litigation challenging the results in swing states, but this hasn’t prevented him from making personnel decisions.

Tanden, who is somewhat known as a Twitter personality, is a controversial figure in Democratic and progressive circles. She regularly used her position of influence in the Democratic establishment to attack Bernie Sanders during his 2016 and 2020 campaigns,

Tanden also became a target of ire for an incident in which she revealed the identity of an individual who was allegedly sexually harassed at the Center for American Progress.

However, it appears that Tanden’s confirmation as the Director of OMB, is doubtful. Drew Brandewie, a staffer of veteran Republican Senator John Cornyn, described the establishment liberal figure as having “zero chance of being confirmed” in a Sunday tweet.

Liberals went ballistic at the notion Tanden wouldn’t be approved by a Republican Senate majority after spending her career maligning the figures whose votes she would require.

Tanden was an essential figure in pioneering the ‘resistance’ branding of establishment Democrats during Trump’s first term.

Tanden appears to have deleted more than a thousand tweets on her personal Twitter account over the weekend, possibly attempting to clean any mines that could arise in potential Senate confirmation hearings.
