WORLD WAR III? The Biden Regime May Allow Ukraine to Use American Weapons to Strike Targets In Russia

United States President Joe Biden recently approved the Ukrainian military’s use of American-manufactured weapons to strike targets within Russia provided that targets are connected to Russia’s offensive in the Kharkov region, an American official stated on May 30. 2024.

This move represents a significant change in the US’s initial position that Ukraine should not use US armaments to hit targets in Russia.

“Over the past few weeks Ukraine came to us and asked for permission . . . that went right to the president. And as you heard, he has approved the use of our weapons for that purpose,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on May 30 in Prague. He added that the US government would continue to modify its policies concerning the use of its weapons by Ukrainian military forces.

Ukraine asked for permission during a video call with leading American officials on May 13 to use US weapons systems against targets in Russia that were being used for its assault on Kharkov, per an American official. The request would be subsequently approved by President Joe Biden.

“Ukraine must be able to defend their territory, also, of course by hitting the artillery, the missiles which are launched against them from inside Russia,” stated NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg. He added that he expected Ukraine to use its new tools in “a responsible way”.

Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chair of Russia’s security council, described the Biden regime’s recent move as a “serious escalation of the conflict” and proclaimed that Russia would destroy any western weapon system used to attack it “both in Ukraine, and in the territory of other countries”.

Medvedev also highlighted that the Biden regime could lead to Russian retaliatory strikes that would spark a direct military confrontation between Russia and NATO. Under such circumstances, Medvedev argues that the Russian government could be potentially compelled to use tactical nuclear weapons.

“This isn’t intimidation or nuclear bluffing. The current military conflict with the west is developing according to the worst possible scenario,” Medvedev said on social media platform Telegram.

Broadly speaking, since Russia’s military incursion into Ukraine in February 2022, the Biden regime has been hesitant to have American weapons to hit targets inside of Russia. Their fear is that such a move would lead to a direct conflict between NATO and Russia.

The fact of the matter is that Russia is winning the war in Ukraine, no matter how military aid is sent to Ukraine. Russia has escalatory dominance in this theater.

Continuing to send military aid to Ukraine will not only increase the prospects of a direct clash between NATO and the US, but also lead to the absolute destruction of Ukraine as Russia begins to realize that Ukraine will have to be fully demilitarized.

Can we give peace a chance in this case, for once?
