President Donald Trump has confirmed that he is planning on meeting with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un by May. South Korean National Security Advisor Chung Eui-yong stated that Kim Jong Un “expressed his eagerness to meet President Trump as soon as possible,” and that “President Trump said he would meet Kim Jong Un by May.”
Trump confirmed this over Twitter, stating that meeting is being planned.
Kim Jong Un talked about denuclearization with the South Korean Representatives, not just a freeze. Also, no missile testing by North Korea during this period of time. Great progress being made but sanctions will remain until an agreement is reached. Meeting being planned!

This is a huge step towards solving the major problems in the hermit national of North Korea. Under Kim Jong Un’s leadership, the people of North Korea are under terrible conditions, and instead of trying to solve those problems, North Korea has been busy developing nuclear weapons in an attempt to intimidate the world.
This newfound interest in meeting with Trump could be spurred by the divisive leadership of the President, especially compared to former President Barack Obama.
