Biden Administration Intends to Renew Bush-Era Foreign Policy, Explode Hostilities with Russia
The upcoming Joe Biden administration, if it is certified by the courts, will undo the “America First” foreign policy agenda of President Trump and renew hostilities throughout the globe, particularly with regards to Russia.
Russian officials are downplaying the potential hostilities, as they hope to avoid incurring the wrath of a possible administration with a glorified vegetable as its figurehead.
“Biden . . . will certainly change the style of US foreign policy but will hardly be able or willing to reverse some of its key trends,” said Dmitri Trenin, director of the Carnegie Moscow Center. “Confrontation with Russia will continue.”
However, Biden has made his intentions with Russia clear. The nation is to be punished for the nonexistent Russian collusion scandal that was invented through whole cloth by the Obama administration before Trump even took office.
“We must impose real costs on Russia for its violations of international norms and stand with Russian civil society, which has bravely stood up time and again against President Vladimir Putin’s kleptocratic authoritarian system,” Biden wrote in an article from the spring.
He added: “Putin wants to tell himself, and anyone else he can dupe into believing him, that the liberal idea is ‘obsolete.’ But he does so because he is afraid of its power,” he wrote, arguing the Kremlin feared a strong Nato, which he described as “the most effective political-military alliance in modern history”.”
An insider told Financial Times that Biden’s inner circle is motivated by an “emotional” hatred of the Russians, which will guide their foreign policy of extreme belligerence.
“We expect a massive toughening of the stance towards Russia,” a high-ranking Washington D.C. diplomat said. “There is a hatred for Russia amongst [Biden’s team] that is really amazing. It’s not just rational; it’s also very emotional.”
Big League Politics has reported on the psychotic levels of demonization against Russia by the political establishment during the Trump era, which has fomented unhealthy levels of xenophobia and paranoia across society:
Glenn Greenwald, a progressive journalist and editor of The Intercept, called out corporate mainstream media outlets such as MSNBC and CNN for their roles in propagating Russia-based conspiracies while on Tucker Carlson Tonight Thursday.
Greenwald is a left-of-center journalist who isn’t afraid to criticize establishment media for lies and dishonesty. From the beginning of the seemingly endless Russia probe, Greenwald pushed back on attempts from sponsored media personalities such as Rachel Maddow to depict Donald Trump and his presidency as controlled opposition puppeteered by Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin. The conspiracy theories, Greenwald asserted, were fuel for a hawkish project to create hostility between the United States and Russia without regards for the consequences.
In doing so, he became a target of fury from establishment Democrats and their associated media outlets. The New Yorker ran an article of the Brazilian resident known for his work with NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden likening him to a conspiracy theorist.
Greenwald pointed out the unipolar bias of MSNBC and traditional liberal media in alleging Russia collusion conspiracies. Skeptics of the conventional narrative of a grand Trump-Russia conspiracy were largely blackballed from appearing on air, while “journalists” being fed information from Deep-state linked government officials peddled grand claims that have surfaced to be entirely and completely false.
Neocon globalist warmonger Dick Cheney is no doubt very happy about what the Biden administration intends to do with regards to foreign policy.
Apparently, Dick Cheney has always dreamed of a Biden Presidency pic.twitter.com/nwBKlfOdWE

A Biden presidency definitely means a return to the excesses of the Bush era overseas.
