Biden Ignores Congress, Issues New Gun Control Dictate

Joe Biden has once again shown his complete disregard for the Constitution and the Second Amendment with his latest dictate on gun control.
I told readers to expect a new rule from Biden on ghost guns earlier, but I didn’t anticipate his announcement sounding off like this.
According to the new dictate, “this final rule bans the business of manufacturing the most accessible ghost guns, such as un-serialized ‘buy build shoot’ kits that individuals can buy online or at a store without a background check and can readily assemble into a working firearm in as little as 30 minutes with equipment they have at home.”
The new dictate also ensures gun stores cannot destroy records even after 20 years. While forcing store owners to submit names to the ATF for every gun purchased at their location. Thus further maintaining a running database of American gun owners.
Of course, Biden’s new dictate will do nothing to stop criminals from obtaining firearms like apparently intended. But instead, like the majority of Biden executive orders, will only hurt law abiding citizens.
This is what Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky had to say about Biden bypassing Congress to attack one of the most fundamental components of the second amendment.

“Biden just released an executive order on gun control. Biden has no authority to write laws, only Congress does. The last time a President tried to unilaterally write a law, it was Obamacare, and the Supreme Court said ‘No.’ This EO is unconstitutional and we will fight it.” – Congressman Thomas Massie
Biden’s executive order also calls for “red flag” laws, which would allow family members or law enforcement officials to petition a court to remove firearms from someone they believe poses a threat to themselves or others.
As most gun owners know, these orders are often issued with little evidence and due process, as seen in Maryland where over 2,000 guns were seized without due process in 2018.
It’s no surprise that Biden is pushing for more gun control, as he’s been a vocal critic of the 2nd Amendment throughout his career.
In fact, Biden has even admitted that he wants to “take your guns away.”
At a town hall meeting in Iowa during his 2020 presidential campaign, Biden was asked by an audience member what he would do about people who own AR-15s.
“Ban them,” Biden responded. “Buy them back. Go to jail if you don’t.”

Biden has also expressed support for Australia’s controversial gun confiscation program, which saw over 650,000 firearms seized from law-abiding citizens. We saw how well that turned out for Australians amidst Covid-19 lockdowns.
It’s clear that Biden is hell-bent on taking away American 2nd Amendment rights, despite strong opposition from Republicans in Congress.
Never forget: If Biden got his way, he would perform Australia’s gun confiscation program right here in the United States.
