Biden’s Secretary of State Pledges ‘Unwavering’ Support to Ukraine Amidst Conflict with Russia

U.S. secretary of state Antony Blinken has pledged “unwavering” support for the Ukrainian government in their ongoing conflict against Russia.

State Department spokesman Ned Price released a statement explaining the diplomatic situation. The U.S. is once again interjecting itself into a foreign entanglement that is none of their business.

“Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke by phone with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba today. The Secretary affirmed the United States’ unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in the Donbas and Crimea. He expressed concern about the security situation in eastern Ukraine and offered condolences on the recent loss of four Ukrainian soldiers,” Price said.

“Secretary Blinken highlighted the importance of advancing rule of law and economic reforms to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic institutions and further its Euro-Atlantic integration. The Secretary and Foreign Minister also discussed efforts to counter the COVID-19 pandemic and to advance our shared interests in combatting the effects of climate change,” he added.

The Biden regime is exploiting inflamed tensions between Russia and Ukraine in order to punish the Russians over the imaginary collusion scandal that they could not use to impeach former president Donald Trump.

“Russia’s destabilizing actions undermine the de-escalation in tensions that had been achieved through an OSCE-brokered agreement back in July of last year,” Kirby said.

“Additionally, we are aware of Ukrainian military reports concerning Russian troop movements on Ukraine’s borders,” he added.

Russia has denied that the U.S. or any other foreign country has anything to worry about with regards to their actions in Ukraine.

“The Russian Federation moves its armed forces within its territory at its own discretion. This should not bother anyone, it poses no threat to anyone,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, adding that “increased activity of the armed forces of NATO countries” has threatened Russia and “obliges us to be on the alert.”

Big League Politics has reported on the Biden regime’s promise to torpedo diplomatic relations with Russia because of Democrat collusion fantasies and conspiracy theories about Trump and Putin:

The upcoming Joe Biden administration, if it is certified by the courts, will undo the “America First” foreign policy agenda of President Trump and renew hostilities throughout the globe, particularly with regards to Russia.

Russian officials are downplaying the potential hostilities, as they hope to avoid incurring the wrath of a possible administration with a glorified vegetable as its figurehead.

“Biden . . . will certainly change the style of US foreign policy but will hardly be able or willing to reverse some of its key trends,” said Dmitri Trenin, director of the Carnegie Moscow Center. “Confrontation with Russia will continue.”

However, Biden has made his intentions with Russia clear. The nation is to be punished for the nonexistent Russian collusion scandal that was invented through whole cloth by the Obama administration before Trump even took office.

“We must impose real costs on Russia for its violations of international norms and stand with Russian civil society, which has bravely stood up time and again against President Vladimir Putin’s kleptocratic authoritarian system,” Biden wrote in an article from the spring.

He added: “Putin wants to tell himself, and anyone else he can dupe into believing him, that the liberal idea is ‘obsolete.’ But he does so because he is afraid of its power,” he wrote, arguing the Kremlin feared a strong Nato, which he described as “the most effective political-military alliance in modern history”.”

War with Russia is an actual possibility as the consequence of President-imposed Biden seizing power. The national security gains made due to Trump’s America First foreign policy are being aggressively erased.
