Biden’s ‘Zero-Tolerance Policy For Typos’ Attacks Firearm Retailers, 500% Increase In License Revocations Since Last Year

The Biden administration is targeting gun retailers, using a zero-tolerance policy for typos as its round-about way to revoke firearm licenses.

As reported by The Federalist, this has led to a 500% increase in Federal firearm license revocations since last year.

“Lee Williams, an independent investigative reporter specializing in covering firearms, revealed that ATF once revoked the licenses of federal firearms licensees (FFLs) at a rate of about 40 each year. ‘But, in the 11 months since Joe Biden declared war on ‘rogue gun dealers,’ the ATF has revoked 273 FFLs — an increase of more than 500%,'”the outlet highlighted.

“However, rather than targeting the true rogues, Biden’s ATF is revoking FFLs for the most minor of paperwork errors, which were never a concern for the ATF until Biden weaponized the agency,” it continued. “That’s due to the Biden administration’s “zero tolerance” inspection policy. That means inspectors are revoking federal firearms licenses for even minor clerical errors that previously would warrant a warning letter.”

In short, if a dealer makes a simple, understandable mistake, they can now lose their license. This is because, under the new Biden definition, dealers are assumed to be aware of the law. So any blunders or oversights are regarded as willfulness to violate the law on purpose.

Put differently, common mistakes are being treated as intentional under Biden’s new twisted wording. A clear attempt to minimize gun sales in the nation.

All this should be expected from the President who has said time and time again that “our enemy is the gun manufacturers, not the NRA, the gun manufacturers.”

The President may be saying one thing to law-abiding gun owners, like how gun control is not about taking away rights. But his actions and following statements are screaming just the opposite.

For example, during a speech on Thursday night following last week’s tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas, Biden called for banning extremely popular semi-automatic long guns, claiming that the firearm holds “high-capacity magazines.”

He also proposed enacting red flag laws, which by nature would strip Americans of due process. After that, he announced that he would be going after gun manufacturers.

This latest story highlights the lengths his administration is willing to go to punish law-abiding gun owners by halting the sale of firearms across the nation. Giving Americans a better inside look at how the President intends to make good on his promises through workarounds like these.

As Joe Rogan put it, Americans ought to stay cautious when crafting policies to deal with tragedy because “freedoms lost are rarely regained.”
