Boston Mayor Slams ‘Police Misconduct’ After ANTIFA Injures Four Cops Over the Weekend

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh decried “police misconduct” after four officers were injured due to coordinated assaults from ANTIFA terrorists who wanted to stop the “Straight Pride Parade” from taking place this past weekend.

“Let me be clear that I take any accusation of police misconduct seriously. I also want to be clear that sowing division between people is exactly the goal of Straight Pride organizers, and I will not stand for it,” Walsh said in a public statement.

“Just as the people of Boston work to make our values of love, inclusion and acceptance known to all, our public safety officials work tirelessly to keep people safe from harm every single day of the year, and that will never change,” he added.

Law enforcement is pushing back against the Mayor, saying that officers did a good job keeping the peace against an ANTIFA terrorist threat that has laid waste to cities lacking the resolve to stand up against their nationwide spree of violence.

“Boston Police officers work hard every day to protect the residents throughout all of Boston’s neighborhoods. Yesterday, under difficult conditions, officers strove to ensure the safety of all at the parade,” Boston police commissioner William Gross said.

City Councilor Timothy McCarthy believes that the ANTIFA thugs who were arrested should be punished harshly and made into examples, as law enforcement is frequently demonized by the far-left terror group.

“To have anybody have violence against the Boston Police department, any of its officers is absolutely uncalled for and they should be prosecuted to the absolute utmost of the law,” said McCarthy, who is the council’s public safety chairman, to the Boston Herald.

“They want peace — they want to go home safely themselves,” McCarthy said of law enforcement. “When people attack Boston police officers, it absolutely should not be stood for.”

However, Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins is likely to go easy on the ANTIFA terrorists who were arrested. Her liberal soft-on-crime philosophy prompts her to not prosecute for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct when they are not accompanied with other charges.

“We’re reviewing each arrest and will make informed decisions based on the facts of each and the policies of this office,” Rollins’ office said.

Left-wing City Council President Andrea Campbell hopes that events like the ‘Straight Pride Parade’ will not be allowed in the future, as she believes that the 1st Amendment should not be protected in the city she represents.

“This also provides us with an opportunity to review our permitting process especially with respect to orgs that are pretending to march under the guise of free speech but instead marching to promote hate, racism and bigotry and thus incite violence,” Campbell said.

However, in actuality, it was the ANTIFA terrorists who were committing the violence while the event attendees were mostly just trying to have a good time.

“Many media outlets have reported it was “unclear” which side the arrests were on, but all it takes is a little research to find that the sole source of violence and unrest was at the hands of so-called ‘tolerant’ protesters,” said Samson Racioppi, who helped organize the event with the group Super Happy Fun America.

“From the beginning we have made it clear that everyone is welcome to our movement; yet the lies do not stop from both mainstream media outlets and protesters alike,” Racioppi added.

If Walsh is not careful, he may become the next Ted Wheeler. Wheeler is the Portland Mayor who has hamstrung law enforcement and allowed ANTIFA terrorists to run wild in the streets of his town on many occasions, resulting in attacks on journalists, young women and elderly folks.

Liberal city mayors like Wheeler and Walsh are a big part of the reason why President Donald Trump needs to officially declare ANTIFA a terrorist group, and then a substantial amount of federal resources can be devoted to putting ANTIFA leaders in jail and cutting off their funding sources.
