BREAKING: Steve Bannon Sentenced to Four Months in Jail for Contempt of Congress

Former Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon has been sentenced to four months in jail for contempt of Congress for refusing to participate in the phony Jan. 6 probe.

Federal prosecutors called for Bannon to receive six months in jail and a fine of $200,000. The ruling, handed down by Trump-appointed U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols, was a bit more lenient. Bannon is currently free pending appeal.

Throughout this entire farce of a case, Bannon remained defiant and continued to make politically-charged statements against the Democrats.

“Their judgment day is on November 8, when the Biden administration ends,” Bannon said outside of the courthouse on Friday.

Bannon was found guilty on two contempt charges – one for refusing to turn over his personal documents and communications to Congress and the other for refusing to appear in front of Congress to give deposition.

Big League Politics has reported on Bannon calling out the federal gestapo throughout his political persecution, showing a tremendous amount of resolve in the face of intense pressure:

Conservatives are rightfully demanding answers following the FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on Monday.

Following this politicized “assault” on a former President, ex-Trump adviser Steve Bannon joined Fox News to discuss. Dubbing the FBI “the Gestapo”…

“We’re at war,” Bannon said. “We’re at a political and ideological war, and they’ve obviously weaponized the Justice Department.”

Bannon went on to say that a raid of this magnitude would have to “go up to the White House to be approved.” And that it would ultimately need to go through President Joe Biden‘s attorney general Merrick Garland for authorization.

“This is about pure power politics,” the former White House Chief strategist added.

“They’re absolutely petrified that Trump is going to announce in the next couple of weeks and win the Republican nomination, win the White House,” Bannon said.

“This is going to continue on,” he continued. “The FBI right now is the Gestapo.”

Bannon, like various other conservative voices, is calling on the GOP to take this “political persecution” of Trump more seriously than anything else. Urging that if this can happen to a former President, it can happen to everyday Americans too.

So far, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy tweeted a warning to Garland telling him to “preserve” his documents and “clear” his calendar.

Bannon is taking a bullet for American patriots nationwide. The people must resist tyranny for it to be stopped. Compliance will only result in a permanent death of the Bill of Rights and Constitution.
