Dem-Run Cities See 50% Drop In Activity As Tourists, Workers, Homeowners Flee In Droves

Americans are fleeing Democrat run cities in droves.
Tourists, homeowners, and workers are quickly noticing the spike in crime and drug use that are turning once beloved cities into liberal hell holes. So they are foregoing them for red states where law and order is better established and properly enforced.
Democrat-run San Francisco, Cleveland and Portland are prime examples of this mass exodus, and have each seen activity drop by a near 50%.
Cities like these are scaring away law-abiding citizens because they are letting woke politics infiltrate everything from crime to homelessness. Which is turning away citizens who want safety and a good community for raising children.
According to new research by the Institute of Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley, San Francisco’s central business district is currently operating at just 31%.
Moreover, as the Daily Mail reported, Cleveland’s downtown activity was down to 36%, while Portland had the third worst downtown activity since its pre-pandemic era, down to 41 percent.
Critics of how these Democrat cities are being run claim that leaders are not prioritizing citizens, and not allocating the money that is needed properly to decrease violence, strengthen law enforcement, and protect tax-payer funded streets against drug abusers and mentally ill homelessness.
For example, in Portland, officials claim they do not have do not have the resources to remove “squatters” on the property who refuse to vacate the premises.
Another big contributing force for this mass exodus of activity stems from pandemic enforcements and policies that have only hurt law-abiding citizens and business owners. Ultimately leaving homeowners unable to sell and recoup any losses.
Places like California are quickly beginning to notice this sick trend, which is why residents moved to recall far-left Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon.
Organizers who were hopeful to get the same outcome of now recalled Soros-backed DA Chesa Boudin, collecting over 700,000 signatures to remove Gascon.
After thousands of rejected signatures by the county Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office, it was determined that LA would allow Gascon to remain.
Now, residents expect to see Gascon’s pro-crime policies stay and possibly exacerbate, as he is notoriously known for allowing criminals to walk thus hurting law-abiding citizens in the process due to his carelessness.
Notably, George Soros has said he has “no intention of stopping” his funding of ultra-left DAs across America.
“I have supported the election (and more recently the re-election) of prosecutors who support reform. I have done it transparently, and I have no intention of stopping,” Soros acknowledged in an opinion piece in The Wall Street Journal.
“Our system is rife with injustices that make us all less safe. The idea that we need to choose between justice and safety is false,” he wrote.
Then Soros went on to say that “some politicians and pundits have tried to blame recent spikes in crime on the policies of reform-minded prosecutors.”
“The research I’ve seen says otherwise,” he claimed.
Americans fleeing Democrat run cities might prove just the opposite.
