Democrat Rep. Katie Hill Plays the Victim, Denies Wrongdoing After Lesbian Love Affair with Staffer is Exposed

Freshman Democratic Congresswoman Katie Hill (D-CA) is playing the victim after a lurid lesbian affair with a staffer was a staffer last week, blaming an “abusive husband” for the fall-out from her own behavior.

Even though naked photographs were produced of Hill with the younger staffer, she still reportedly denied any wrongdoing while speaking about the matter with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD), according to sources within the Democratic Party.

“The fact is I am going through a divorce from an abusive husband who seems determined to try to humiliate me,” Hill told Politico. The reports indicate that her husband was sexually involved with Hill and her lesbian lover, as they had a degenerate polyamorous arrangement.

“I am disgusted that my opponents would seek to exploit such a private matter for political gain. This coordinated effort to try to destroy me and people close to me is despicable and will not succeed,” Hill said. “I, like many women who have faced attacks like this before, am stronger than those who want me to be afraid.”

Hill has not addressed the text messages between she and her alleged lover that were originally released by RedState last week. Hill is now allegedly involved with Graham Kelly, who works as the legislative director in Hill’s office. She is apparently not shy about using her power to cultivate intimate relationships with her underlings, which brings about serious ethics questions.

By painting herself as the victim of her ex-husband, Hill hopes to escape scrutinity for her unethical behavior. Her estranged husband, Kenny Heslep, sees the situation very differently and teed off on his wife in a Facebook post.

“Out lesbian?!? Then why has she been sleeping with her (male) finance director for the past year at least?” Heslep asked.

“I couldn’t dispute this if she was still holding to being bisexual. But but being with her husband (me) for almost 15 years and then leaving me for another MAN, not woman, whom she is still seeing, is not being a lesbian. Bisexual yes, as I will back up her claims to this. But not lesbian alone,” he explained.

Hill hopes that those who exposed her scandalous affair are punished by the authorities, to set the precedent that Democratic lawmakers are above public scrutiny from journalists.

“Intimate photos of me and another individual were published by Republican operatives on the internet without my consent,” Hill said in her statement.

“I have notified Capitol Hill police who are investigating the situation and potential legal violations of those who posted and distributed the photos, and therefore will have no further comment on the digital materials,” she added.

While Hill hopes that playing the victim will make the story go away, that is not likely to happen as she is expected to face a competitive challenge from a Republican in next year’s general election. Perhaps even a credible primary challenger will emerge in the Democratic Party fold now that the inappropriate relationship that she refuses to deny has been made public.
