FBI Sat On Weiner’s Laptop Emails Because ‘Russia’ Suddenly Became Top Priority

Published

on

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) under James Comey and Andrew McCabe sat on the revelation that Anthony Weiner possessed more than 300,000 relevant emails on his laptop including tons of Hillary Clinton-Huma Abedin emails dating back to 2007.

Why? The report from Inspector General Michael Horowitz claims that the FBI shifted focus to the higher priority of the “Russia collusion” investigation, and that agents did not think the emails on Weiner’s laptop (many of them classified) would be “important.”

The fact that Weiner had access to classified Clinton emails is stunning enough. Now, courtesy of the IG report, we know that Comey’s FBI were obviously complicit in covering up the revelation and using the “Russia” hoax to divert attention from Weiner.

“As we describe in Chapter Nine of our report, the explanations we were given for the FBI’s failure to take immediate action on the Weiner laptop fell into four general categories:
• The FBI Midyear team was waiting for additional information about the contents of the laptop from NYO, which was not provided until late October; • The FBI Midyear team could not review the emails without additional legal authority, such as consent or a new search warrant; • The FBI Midyear team and senior FBI officials did not believe that the information on the laptop was likely to be significant; and • Key members of the FBI Midyear team had been reassigned to the investigation of Russian interference in the U.S. election, which was a higher priority…

In assessing the decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear-related investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop, we were particularly concerned about text messages sent by Strzok and Page that potentially indicated or created the appearance that investigative decisions they made were impacted by bias or improper considerations. Most of the text messages raising such questions pertained to the Russia investigation, and the implication in some of these text messages, particularly Strzok’s August 8 text message (“we’ll stop” candidate Trump from being elected), was that Strzok might be willing to take official action to impact a presidential candidate’s electoral prospects. Under these circumstances, we did not have confidence that Strzok’s decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear-related investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop was free from bias.”

IG report passage ends

Big League Politics reported:

Anthony Weiner was hired by a public relations firm that effectively served as a satellite office for the Democratic National Committee during Hillary Clinton’s run for president, according to insiders and leaked emails.
It has been revealed that classified information ended up on Weiner’s laptop through his wife Huma Abedin. This opens Weiner, Abedin, and potentially Abedin’s boss Hillary Clinton up to even further criminal scrutiny.
Weiner, who is in prison for a sexting relationship with an underage girl, was inexplicably hired at the New York public relations firm MWW in July of 2015. It struck many people as odd that Weiner, who bungled his sexting scandal and resigned from Congress, would go to work doing public affairs for the likes of Tysons Food, Southern Comfort, and Jack in the Box.

Weiner only lasted two months at the firm.

General Michael Flynn and Friends Show Their Support for QAnon Movement on Independence Day

Now that he has been exonerated, Flynn is getting hardcore.

General Michael Flynn is a free man, and he thanks the patriots in the controversial QAnon movement for standing by him throughout his tribulations.

He posted a video of his inner circle giving an oath of patriotism on Independence Day that referenced the popular QAnon slogan “where we go one we go all”:

The liberals are really angry that Flynn is lending credence to the QAnon movement, which they claim trafficks in dangerous conspiracy theories. They are particularly anguished that the QAnon movement keeps growing in strength as various suspicious crises hit the American people right before November’s elections.

“Flynn’s message, though alarming, falls into a larger trend: QAnon online activity has been on the rise since the start of the pandemic. As my colleagues Ali Breland and Sinduja Rangarajan reported last month, Google Trends shows that QAnon search terms like “WWG1WGA” (where we go one, we go all) spiked in March as US businesses started to close. Wikipedia’s QAnon page saw a surge in pageviews in March and April,” writer Jackie Flynn Mogensen wrote for left-wing rag Mother Jones.

Big League Politics has reported on the exoneration of Gen. Flynn, whose railroading by the deep state was ultimately unsuccessful:

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced that they will be dropping the case against General Michael Flynn, which has been marred with corruption and improprieties from its inception.

The Flynn case was a feather in the cap of the special investigation conducted by FBI spook Robert Mueller into Russian collusion. The deep state had hoped to make an example of Flynn, secure a guilty plea from him, and then use it to justify their continued fishing expedition to damage President Donald Trump.

However, things did not turn out the way the entrenched bureaucrats planned. The DOJ announced on Thursday that it is dropping the case “after a considered review of all the facts and circumstances of this case, including newly discovered and disclosed information.”

They came to the conclusion that Flynn’s interview with the FBI was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and that the interview taking place on January 24, 2017 was “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.”

Jeff Jensen, the U.S. attorney tasked with reviewing Flynn’s case, made the recommendation to Attorney General Bill Barr that the case be dismissed. Barr followed through with Jensen’s recommendation in a prompt fashion.

“Through the course of my review of General Flynn’s case, I concluded the proper and just course was to dismiss the case,” Jensen said in a statement. “I briefed Attorney General Barr on my findings, advised him on these conclusions, and he agreed.”

Last week, President Trump declared that Flynn was “exonerated” due to the release of court documents showing how the FBI acted improperly throughout the case.

Flynn’s exoneration and his stance in favor of QAnon will certainly put some wind beneath the sails of those who have urged to trust the plan.
