Fearless Conservative Mike Levine Is Running to Protect Floridians From Mass Inflationism

Mike Levine is a lifelong Floridian and real estate professional who is on a mission to clean up politics in the Sunshine State. As the candidate for Florida State House District 26, he vows to fight against the socialist and Marxist agenda that has crept into Florida politics. 

Levine is particularly animated by a cost of living crisis that has greatly impacted his home of Lake County. Big League Politics was able to get in touch with Levine and get a feel for what his campaign will be mostly focused on during this election cycle. 

Levine stressed that Lake County’s household income lags $10,000 below state household income. With inflation becoming the norm in the American economy, this puts large pressure on the low income households of Lake County, Levine observed.

The candidate for Florida’s 26th district believes that the Live Local Act that became law in 2023, which ostensibly promotes affordable housing opportunities across Florida, has had an inflationary effect on the housing market. He also noted that the law circumvents city councils and county commissions on the approval of high density multi-family apartment complex building permits. 

What particularly worries Levine is how developers are using taxpayer dollars to build high density multi-family apartment complexes for illegal aliens who reside in the Sunshine State. Under the state apartment incentive loan (SAIL) program, taxpayer dollars are used to fund the construction of high density multi-family housing units in their own backyards. For perspective, there are roughly 900,000 illegal aliens living in Florida according to figures calculated by Pew Research. This puts a major strain on the state’s overall housing supply. In Levine’s view, mass deportations of illegal aliens would go a long way towards solving Florida’s housing affordability problems.

Levine firmly believes that any sustainable housing affordability strategy must involve state and local governments working in tandem with communities,

the private sector, and regulatory actors to accomplish this goal. Levine’s campaign is focused on conservative principles of limited government that will help deliver economic prosperity to Florida residents. His race will be one of the most important races to follow in the 2024 election cycle, as liberty conservatives look to leave their mark at all levels of government nationwide.
