Florida Man Shoots Three Armed Home Invaders, Two Killed

A Florida man defended his property from three armed home invaders who broke into his house in Wesley Chapel early Friday morning.

The unnamed homeowner was reportedly playing video games when he heard a window being broken at around one in the morning.

Two home invaders, who have been identified as Luis Casado, 21, and Khyle Durham, 21 were both shot and killed as they approached the thus-unnamed homeowner in a hallway. A third criminal suspect, Jeremiah Trammel, 19, fled the home after being shot by the resident. He was later arrested by a civilian armed with a weapon of his own, and has since been charged with home invasion robbery. He’s also being charged with second-degree murder in the deaths of his two accomplices, for the commission of a crime which resulted in their deaths.

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco is describing the incident as a clear-cut example of self-defense. “The victim in this case was exercising his Second Amendment right to protect himself in his home,” he said of the event. He’s reporting that all three of the men have previous criminal records, which include “extremely violent” crimes.

Sheriff Nocco has said that the victim of the home invasion believes he may have been targeted because of his extensive gun collection, of which he had occasionally posted pictures of on social media. The Vector rifle he used in the incident is somewhat of a rare firearm for civilian ownership, having been originally designed for use as a submachine gun by law enforcement and militaries.

As another law-abiding citizen utilizes his weapon to lawfully defend his home from criminals intent on doing him harm, liberals and Democrats appeared more determined to seize the guns of American patriots than ever before.
