GO WOKE, GO BROKE: Star Wars Spin-Off ‘The Acolyte’ is Cancelled After Only 1 Season by Disney

It has been announced that there will be no season of the Disney+ series The Acolyte which received massive criticism and jeers over its extremely woke content.

“The Acolyte was a mystery-thriller that took viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated,” the Deadline stated.

In actuality, The Acolyte was trash directed by a viciously far-left lesbian who wanted to stick it to the patriarchy by injecting woke dogma into Star Wars canon.

The show creator, Leslye Headland, said her show would be looking “at the Jedi as an institution, as a concept, as an entity that has amassed a lot of power. And that’s good, I’m not saying that’s wrong.”

“I think you’re seeing the Jedi when they are this very, very large institution – a benevolent one – but they are closer to who they are in the ‘Phantom Menace’ than obviously in the Original Trilogy where you feel like they’re almost extinct,” Headland stated.

“In a weird way, in the ‘Phantom Menace’ and the Prequel Trilogy, the Jedi outnumber the Sith,” she continued. “And then in the Original Trilogy, the Empire outnumber the Jedi, which is why a show based on the ‘bad guys’ is interesting to me. In that era, what does the underdog look like? Even if they’re the bad guy,” adding that her series would be  “coded queer” like other woke pro-LGBT Disney projects meant to warp the minds of the youth.

Some of the woke clips from The Acolyte can be seen here:

When the show was universally panned, the leading actress, Amandla Stenberg, released this extremely cringe music video:

Big League Politics has reported on other failed woke abominations brought on through Hollywood, such as the HBO anti-white race hate fantasy Watchmen and the CW’s aggressively dykey Batwoman program. Both of these shows failed after only a short run on their respective networks as the public rejected the ham-handed and agenda-driven content.

Networks will have to learn the lesson that they will lose many millions of dollars by putting such blatantly woke programming on their airwaves, There is no appetitive among the public for this content. The masses demand a respite from this absurd and tedious agenda.
