Illegal Alien Child Rapist Caught in Kansas Just Two Weeks After Deportation
Another dangerous illegal had no problem crossing the open Southern Border.

An illegal alien who raped a child and served several years in prison before being deported back to Mexico was re-arrested in Kansas just weeks after his deportation.
“According to the Kansas Department of Corrections Simon Rochel-Cervantes, 46, a citizen of Mexico, spent 7-years in the Ellsworth Correctional Facility for the rape and aggravated intimidation of a witness,” said a local news report.
Rochel-Cervantes raped a child under the age of 14.

After serving his time, he was deported from the United States on on Feb. 19. But he returned shortly thereafter and was re-arrested on March 5. He returned to the same state where the crime occurred.
He has been charged with unlawful re-entry after deportation, and faces up to two years in jail and a $250,000 bond., and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security are both investigating the incident.
Rochel-Cervantes’ illegal re-entry comes during a time of fierce fighting in Washington, D.C. over border security. It also highlights the ease with which illegals are able to cross the border.
Last month, an eight-time deported illegal in Utah was busted trafficking $850,ooo in drugs. Two weeks ago, a twice-deported illegal was charged with child rape in Alabama. In the same week, a previously deported illegal was charged for crashing into a state police cruiser while driving drunk.
And Mexican national Ramon Hector Martine Ontiveros, an illegal alien unlawfully living in Oklahoma was recently charged with the murder of Paige Gomer, leaving her one child without a mother.
In what many Republicans see as a colossal failure, the Republican Congress, led by former Speaker Paul Ryan, current Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, failed to deliver wall funding to the president’s desk during all of 2017 and 2018, when Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House.
Still, some Republicans continue to buck the President’s Build the Wall agenda. Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI), the ‘Never Trump’ champion of open-borders Republicans, was recently the only Republican to oppose a House resolution to keep illegals from voting.
Meanwhile, illegal border crossings are surging, and expected to hit 1.5 million in 2019. Trump has issued a National Emergency declaration, for which he has been sued by several heavily blue states.
Thursday, the Pentagon issued $1 billion in funding to begin wall construction.

Fox News Ratings Crater, Trailing CNN and MSNBC for First Time in 21 Years
A brutal collapse over the past two-and-a-half months.

Recent data from Nielsen shows that Fox News finished behind both CNN and MSNBC in ratings to open the month of January.
This is the first time in twenty-one years that that has happened, according to Daily Wire.
Nielsen’s ratings data shows that CNN finished number one among cable news networks with approximately 2.8 million viewers per day from January 4 through January 10, including 4.2 million in primetime.
MSNBC came in second with 2.3 million viewers per day and 3.8 million in primetime. And in third was Fox News with 1.7 million viewers per day and 3.2 million in primetime.
This is tough data for the conservative-leaning network. Over the past couple decades Fox has become accustomed to completely dominating the ratings, oftentimes receiving more viewership than CNN and MSNBC combined. Several factors contribute to the fall of Fox, including but not limited to:
- The death of Roger Ailes in 2017 and subsequent changes in network leadership
- Their disastrous Election Night coverage on November 3
- Donald Trump’s loss to Joe Biden
- An ostensible effort to distance themselves from Trump
- A real or perceived softening of their conservatism in general
- Trump’s public irritation with the network, to the point of telling people to migrate over to Newsmax and One America News Network (OANN)
Fox News has recently announced lineup changes as well. This is standard practice in the cable news industry and may not have much to do with their suffering ratings, though there’s a likely possibility that it does. Fox will be adding an hour-long opinion show in place of Martha MacCallum’s news show “The Story,” which had fallen behind both CNN and MSNBC’s 7pm timeslots after a stretch of being “comfortably ahead in ratings.” The network will also shuffle some of their daytime lineup.
As Joe Biden works through his first 100 days as president, it will be interesting to see how Fox News continues to perform, not only in comparison with CNN and MSNBC, but also with OANN and Newsmax.
