Kentucky High School Investigating ‘Man Pageant’ Event With Lap Dances, Hooters Outfits

A Kentucky school district confirmed on Wednesday it is investigating social media posts of a High School homecoming event showing male students in skimpy clothing and posing in a provocative manner to school staff, including the principal.

Social media posts out of Hazard High School in Hazard, Kentucky, show teenage boys giving lap dances to staff which has prompted outrage from parents nationwide, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.

“The incident is under investigation and as you know anything under investigation I really can’t talk about,” Hazard Independent Superintendent Sondra Combs told the Herald-Leader without describing the photos. “Once the investigation is complete, appropriate action will be taken.”

“Um. Exactly what is going on here, y’all? C’mon Hazard. Get it together,” reads an online post regarding the incident.

Other photos from the event showed teenage girls walking around the gym in Hooters waitress costumes.

“INSANE: Mayor of Hazard, KY who is also the principal of Hazard High School, held an assembly with a male pageant. The students came dressed in lingerie and gave lap dances to the staff,” Libs of Tik Tok posted on Twitter.

The homecoming event was reportedly scheduled on the Hazard High School Facebook page and referred to as a “man pageant.”

“Public education is under so much fire right now,” Nema Brewer, co-founder of the public education group Ky. 120 United, said about the photos. “This kind of stuff is not helpful. In fact, it’s disgusting. It appears they are sexualizing young adults.”

Big League Politics has covered many other instances of a grotesque treatment of children by corrupt educators in the past including a London County, Virginia high school’s coverup of a female student who was raped by a boy in the school locker room. The father of the victim was arrested at a school board meeting for protesting his daughter’s treament, prompting a mass walkout in support of the victim and her family.
