Police Can No Longer Patrol the Streets Because of Sky High Gas Prices

In a troubling trend caused by Democrat policy, police are increasingly unable to patrol the streets and forced to cut back on essential services because of exorbitant gas prices.

South Zanesville Police Chief Mark Ross appeared on “Fox & Friends” to explain the problems facing law enforcement because of the Democrats destroying America.

“We’re not as visible as we normally want to be,” the police chief stated, noting that cops will be parked in one spot instead of doing patrols to spot crime as it happens.

“We’d like to move around through our village and let people see us,” he added.

Michael Main, the sheriff of Isabella County, Mich, said his force is facing similar constraints and now can only handle life-threatening calls because of the gas prices.

“We have exhausted what funds were budgeted for fuel with several months to go before the budget reset,” Mann wrote in a Facebook post last week.

“I have instructed the deputies to attempt to manage whatever calls are acceptable over the phone. This would be non-in-progress calls, non-life-threatening calls, calls that do not require evidence collection or documentation,” he added.

Big League Politics has reported on the hell being unleashed upon Americans because of the crippling inflation that shows no signs of slowing:

High gas prices have been a fixture of the Biden regime.

Per findings from AAA, the average price of regular unleaded gas increased by $0.59 over the last month. The average of $4.87 per gallon reported on June 6, 2022 is the “most expensive average rate in United States history,” according to a report by Jay Clemons at Newsmax.

The most notable weekly price increases took place in Michigan ($.45), Indiana ($.41), and Wisconsin ($.39).

Price increases in Colorado, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, and Texas have also been quite pronounced. Each of the aforementioned states experienced a minimum increase of $.30 per gallon over the past week.

During this upward movement in gas prices, all states in the Union are now experiencing average gas prices north of $4 per gallon. According to Clemons, Oklahoma was “the last state to eclipse the $4 mark, on average (end of May).”

The state with the lowest unleaded gas is Georgia at $4.28 per gallon according to GasBuddy.com.

Similarly Gas Buddy, highlighted that 10 different states — Indiana ($5.12 per gallon), Arizona ($5.14), Michigan ($5.15), Washington ($5.39), Oregon ($5.40), Hawaii ($5.42), Illinois ($5.43), Alaska ($5.44), Nevada ($5.48), and California ($6.33) — have gas price averages north of $5.

There are reports that a Chevron gas station in Los Angeles allegedly has unleaded fuel at $8.05 per gallon.”

The Democrats’ economic war on the working class is aiding their war on police. They are well on their way to executing their plan to destroy America by design.
