Proud Boys Smeared by NYPD at Congressional Hearing Against Anti-Semitism and Domestic Terrorism

The NYPD under Mayor Bill de Blasio is against the Bill of Rights.

A high-ranking official in the New York City Police Department (NYPD) smeared the Proud Boys while giving testimony before the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence and Counterterrorism on Wednesday by referring to them in the same breathe as murders, terrorists, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists.

NYPD Intelligence & Counterterrorism Deputy Officer John Miller referenced the Proud Boys while addressing anti-Semitic terrorism, despite the fact that the pro-Trump organization is explicitly pro-Jew and has never engaged in any anti-Semitic acts.

“The value of our collaborative efforts to guard against violence imported into New York cannot be undersold,” Miller explained during a Hearing on Combating Anti-Semitism and Domestic Terrorism.

“Most of the Proud Boys are not from New York City, but it presented too attractive a target for them when they decided to engage in violence,” he added before dovetailing immediately into discussion about “white supremacist neo-Nazi” groups in an obvious guilt-by-association tactic.

The “violence” that Miller is referring to stems from a grassroots response to ANTIFA terrorism outside of the Metropolitan Republican Club (MET) in 2018. Law enforcement allowed the ANTIFA terrorists walk without charges following the exchange while persecuting members of the Proud Boys for exercising their right to self-defense in the New York City streets.

Big League Politics reported on political prisoners Maxwell Hare, 27, and John Kinsman, 40, who were sentenced to years in prison last month:

Two “Proud Boys” members were sentenced to four years in prison by a Manhattan judge on Tuesday after they defended themselves against ANTIFA terrorists who attacked a New York event featuring their leader, Gavin McInnes, over a year ago…

The fake news media invented a narrative that the Proud Boys were the provocateurs, which was seized upon by liberal city and state officials, and the result was a show trial where two Proud Boys ended up being convicted and sentenced to prison terms for self-defense.

Maxwell Hare, 27, and John Kinsman, 40, were each sentenced to four years in prison by Justice Mark Dwyer, who made clear in his remarks that his ruling was meant to send a political message.

“It’s a shame when some people jump up and down on a platform,” Dwyer said, referring to McInnes, “and their followers, their soldiers, get into trouble.”

“I’m not sure the most moral responsibility belongs to these two defendants,” he added.

Dwyer also made a thinly-veiled reference comparing the Proud Boys to Nazi streetfighters in 1930s Germany.

“I know enough about history to know what happened in Europe in the ’30s when political street brawls were allowed to go ahead,” Dwyer said during the sentencing. “We don’t want that to happen in New York.”

10 Proud Boys members were charged as a result of their response to the coordinated ANTIFA terror attack on the MET last year. Seven ended up taking plea deals while one other individual is still awaiting trial.

“Instead of focusing on fixing the city he has destroyed, Bill de Blasio and his gang of Antifa-sympathizing thugs in the top brass of the NYPD are targeting a men’s drinking club,” Proud Boys leader and Congressional candidate Enrique Tarrio told Big League Politics.

“If they really cared about fighting racism, they would free John Kinsman, a Proud Boy who they are separating from his his black wife and kids for defending himself from ANTIFA aggressors,” he added.

At the same Congressional hearing, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) CEO Johnathan Greenblatt urged for the destruction of the Bill of Rights and Constitution, and called for the jailing of individuals who commit supposed “hate speech” on the internet.

The organized Left is conducting an anti-American conspiracy against the rule of law, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution in broad daylight, and the Proud Boys are on the receiving end of this grave injustice.

FLASHBACK: Three Recent Supreme Court Justices Were Confirmed Within 45 Days

There’s ample precedent for a quick confirmation.

There are 45 days until the November 3rd presidential election, and there’s ample precedent for an expedited confirmation of a Supreme Court Justice in such a timeframe following a vacancy.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg died on Friday, setting up a possible contentious confirmation process to fill her seat. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is pledging that a tentative Trump administration nominee for the position will receive a vote on the Senate floor, despite outrage and indignation on the part of progressives falsely maintaining that McConnell is breaking precedent he set by refusing to confirm Merrick Garland. President Obama tried to get Garland confirmed when the opposing party controlled the Senate, a divided government that does not exist in 2020.

Ruth Bader Ginsberg herself was formally nominated by President Clinton on June 22nd, 1993. Her confirmation process began on July 20th, and she was confirmed on August 3rd, with a total of 42 days elapsing between her nomination and confirmation.

John Paul Stevens’ nomination was advanced and confirmed in a speedy 19 days, and Sandra Day O’Connor was confirmed in 1981 in a total of 33 days.

In fact, every single Supreme Court nomination of the past 45 years was nominated and voted upon within a shorter duration of the time remaining in Donald Trump’s first presidential term.

There’s actually wide precedent for nominating and confirming a Supreme Court justice within the confines of President Trump’s first term, and Democrats are being untruthful or erroneous to suggest otherwise.

McConnell is beginning initial work to advance confirmation hearings, with potential liberal Republicans such as Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski presenting themselves as possible holdouts. It is possible to approve a judge with 50 votes in the Senate and a Vice Presidential tiebreaker.
