As the executive director of the White House Initiative¬†on American Indian and Alaska Native Education, Mendoza’s tax-payer funded salary was $140,000 a year.

According to documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Mendoza was supposed to be at work when he was taking the lewd pictures, and was using a travel card funded by taxpayers to get onto the Metro to take the pictures.
