John Matze, the founder of the pro-free speech social network Parler, revealed on the platform that Apple contacted him to demand he censor “offensive” speech from the website or the big tech platform will remove Parler’s app from its App Store.
Matze revealed on his Parler account that he was threatened with the deletion of his smartphone app if his company does not change its Community Guidelines and immediately begin removing content Apple considers “offensive.” When Matze flatly refused to comply with the tech giant’s demands, Apple prevented the Parler app from sending publish updates of the app to users.
Big League Politics recently joined Parler, and has partnered with the pro-free speech platform to provide high quality, pro-America news to the public.
As we reported, Parler’s novel approach to content moderation is to stand firmly behind the First Amendment and the United States Constitution:
Perhaps Parler’s most fascinating and distinguishing difference from the other big tech giants is its devotion to freedom of speech. While Facebook, Twitter, Google, and virtually every other big tech website offer byzantine rules regarding what they consider hate speech, sensitive content, targeted harassment, and other forms of behavior they consider toxic, Parler stands behind the United States Constitution’s definition of free speech.
Parler’s Community Guidelines, a five page long, easily read and understood document available on its website, enshrines this.
Removing Parler’s app from the store could theoretically stunt the website’s growth, even as President Donald Trump is reportedly considering opening an account on the platform as part of the social media strategy for his 2020 reelection campaign.
Gab, another social media company, had its app removed from Google Play last year, possibly suggesting a pattern of pro-censorship or anti-competitive behavior from the big tech giants.
Big League Politics and most of our staff are now on Parler. A full list containing all Big League Politics Parler accounts is available here.

Google Bans InfoWars App From Play Store, Censoring Unauthorized Coronavirus Information
Big Tech is using coronavirus as an excuse to ramp up draconian censorship.
Google has removed the Infowars App from its Play Store, using coronavirus as an excuse to censor the leading independent news provider.
“Now more than ever, combating misinformation on the Play Store is a top priority for the team,” a Google spokesperson said to WIRED. “When we find apps that violate Play policy by distributing misleading or harmful information, we remove them from the store.”
Jones is under fire for disputing the approved narratives regarding coronavirus, urging people not necessarily to panic at the behest of the globalist media.
In one of the comments that have gotten him in hot water, Jones reportedly said that “everybody dies under the new world order except maybe one tenth of one percent that believe they’re going to merge with machines and have made deals with this inter-dimensional thing that gave them all the technology … You can’t make a deal with these aliens, OK, that the Bible tells you about and ever get off the planet.”
It is not only Big Tech that is using the coronavirus in an attempt to destroy Jones’ ability to freely communicate. The state of New York has also taken aim at Jones’ business for selling products that he claimed improves bodily immunity to toxins.
The affirmative-action New York attorney general Letitia James used her bully pulpit earlier this month to target Jones and demand for him to stop selling the supplements that sustain his news operation:
Jones has urged people to buy the products in his web store as a “stopgate” against the coronavirus and SARS. New York attorney general Letitia James says that this is unacceptable and has demanded for him to stop selling these helpful products.
“As the coronavirus continues to pose serious risks to public health, Alex Jones has spewed outright lies and has profited off of New Yorkers’ anxieties,” James said, claiming that Jones’ advertising is “incredibly dangerous.”
Jonathan Emord, a lawyer from “The Alex Jones Show,” claims that James’ allegations are false and that the products were never marketed “to be used in the treatment of any disease, including the novel coronavirus.” They will be adding a disclaimer on their page to make sure that is known.
The government is also cracking down on remedies not approved by the FDA, such as colloidal silver, as a way to protect the Big Pharma monopoly on health and wellness, using coronavirus as the excuse to flex their muscle.
Joseph Simons, who works as chairman of the Federal Trade Commission, has said that “what we don’t need in this situation are companies preying on consumers by promoting products with fraudulent prevention and treatment claims.”
Colloidal Vitality LLC has been targeted by the federal government for claiming that “it’s actually widely acknowledged in both science and the medical industry that ionic silver kills coronaviruses.” Televangelist Jim Bakker has also been targeted for selling colloidal silver as a possible coronavirus remedy.
“Mr. Jones’ public platform has not only given him a microphone to shout inflammatory rhetoric, but his latest mistruths are incredibly dangerous and pose a serious threat to the public health of New Yorkers and individuals across the nation,” James said, making it clear that she has a partisan vendetta against against Jones.
Jones clarified his advertisement campaign while addressing the controversy on his radio show, dispelling the far-left lies used against him in an attempt to destroy his reputation and his business.
The authoritarian measures taken by public and private actors may end up causing more damage to society than coronavirus by the time this nightmare is said and done.
