US Southern Border Encounters Nearly 200,000 Migrants In July
It’s safe to say the Biden administration couldn’t care less about our Southern Border. Especially after the massive influx of migrant encounters in July alone.
According to numbers obtained by Fox News, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported a whopping 199,976 illegal immigrants at the border last month.
Though it’s worth noting that this is a slight dip from the 207,416 reported encounters in June. There is still – by no means – a firm grasp on the heavy influx of migrants entering the country illegally daily.
These numbers are alarming because of the volume, but also because Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently claimed that the border was “secure.”
So while Mayorkas and the Biden administration claim to be doing all that they can to protect our Southern Border, these people are responsible for ending the “Remain-in-Mexico” policy, which “kept migrants in Mexico for their immigration hearings rather than releasing them into the country.”
Biden’s disastrous Southern Border crisis is looking worse and worse by the day according to likely 2022 midterm voters.
The whole debacle, intentional or not, has finally become “a big enough story” to constitute mainstream media reporting, so the Biden administration was recently forced to fill gaps in certain areas of former President Donald Trump’s border wall.
Notably, Biden “pledged during his campaign to cease all future wall construction.”
Otherwise, it feels as though this topic rarely receives the attention it deserves. Very few in the corporate press are holding the President accountable for these monstrous migrant encounters month after month.
Which, as a result, has overwhelmed border states and communities.
Texas and Arizona have been forced to bus migrants to New York City and Washington, DC that claim to be “sanctuary cities.” The only initiative thus far that has forced Democrat lawmakers to think again about how this Southern Border crisis is affecting communities.
As FBI Director Christopher Wray put it: the Southern Border presents “significant security issues.” And the near 200,000 migrant encounters in July alone support that claim entirely.
What makes this story even crazier and hypocritical is that The Department of Homeland Security just awarded a Delaware company $490,000 to build a fence around President Biden’s home.
