‘We Stand Ready to Defend Federalism’: Arizona AG Issues Ultimatum to Biden Administration Over Forensic Audit
Arizona attorney general Mark Brnovich has responded to the Biden administration’s threats against the forensic audit being conducted in his state, and he is refusing to back down against the federal overreach.
“Late last week, you made troubling comments about the ongoing efforts in states to ensure election integrity,” Brnovich wrote in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland.
“Your statements followed a May 5 letter from Pamela Karlan of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, on the subject of the Arizona Senate’s oversight of the Maricopa County audit. This letter appeared more interested in supporting the hysterical outcries of leftist pundits on cable television, rather than the rule of law,” he added.
Brnovich made it clear that Arizona officials will interpose themselves against federal tyrants in order to protect the integrity of the ongoing audit.
“It is important to remember that the states created the federal government, not the other way around. America’s founders intentionally restrained the federal government’s constitutional boundaries to ensure that each state could flourish in unique ways. Today, our federal government has largely forgotten the Founders’ intent, but my office has not,” he said.

Big League Politics has reported about Garland’s interference with the audit as the feds grow increasingly desperate to protect their vote fraud scam:
“The Department of Justice (DOJ) sent a threatening letter to Arizona senate president Karen Fann (R-Prescott) on Wednesday, who is leading efforts to audit ballots in Maricopa County.
“The Department has reviewed available information, including news reports and complaints regarding the procedures being used for this audit,” the DOJ wrote in the letter. “The information of which we are aware raises concerns regarding at least two issues of potential non-compliance with federal laws enforced by the Department.”
The DOJ is concerned that a private firm is auditing the ballots. It is in their best interests to make sure that nobody – other than perhaps their bought-and-paid-for deep state “experts” – can get a hold of any information that could be used to expose the election fraud cover-up raging since November.
“We have a concern that Maricopa County election records, which are required by federal law to be retained and preserved, are no longer under the ultimate control of elections officials, are not being adequately safeguarded by contractors, and are at risk of damage or loss,” the DOJ wrote.
The feds are setting the stage to throw specious charges at investigators and cast doubt on the findings of the audit with this intimidating letter.
“Past experience with similar investigative efforts around the country has raised concerns that they can be directed at minority voters, which potentially can implicate the anti-intimidation prohibitions of the Voting Rights Act. Such investigative efforts can have a significant intimidating effect on qualified voters that can deter them from seeking to vote in the future,” the DOJ wrote, shamelessly playing the race card to impede the investigation.”
The Arizona forensic audit could be a game changer with national ramifications. This is why the Biden administration is so scared, but Arizona will exercise state powers under the U.S. Constitution, if necessary, to keep the feds at bay.
