With Elections Approaching, Biden Will Close Gaps In Areas Of Border Wall

Democrat President Joe Biden’s disastrous Southern Border crisis is looking worse and worse by the day according to likely 2022 midterm voters.

The whole debacle, intentional or not, is finally becoming “a big enough story” to constitute mainstream media reporting, so the Biden administration is forced to fill gaps in certain areas of former President Donald Trump’s border wall.

Notably, Biden “pledged during his campaign to cease all future wall construction.”

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has already authorized the project, which will “close four massive gaps” in the border wall near Yuma, Arizona.

One of the biggest drivers for this seemingly out-of-character action from the Biden admin stems from the Abbott-Ducey initiative that Democrats are now dubbing a “growing humanitarian crisis.”

Under the initiative, 4,000 migrants have been reportedly transferred to DC from Arizona and Texas since the launch of the bussing operation.

On Thursday, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser called for the national guard to help deal with the influx of illegal migrants in her city.

Bowser wants to combat “people who are seeking asylum coming across the country to get to their final destinations,” and she said DC would “continue to pursue federal involvement.”

“We’ve had a number of discussions,” she said. “We’ve facilitated FEMA’s involvement with a million dollar grant that has now been increased to work with a lead nonprofit agency. We’ve facilitated using those grant funds to set up respite center in a neighboring jurisdiction and I’ve also asked the Secretary of the Army to deploy the D.C. National Guard to help lead that effort.”

“I’ve asked for the deployment of the guard as long as we need the guard to deal with the humanitarian crisis that we expect to escalate,” she continued. “The number of people crossing the border seeking asylum, we expect to only go up, we need to make sure that there is a national response, not an ad hoc city by city, state by state response.”

Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott immediately fired back at Bowser, essentially telling her to pound sand. “D.C. is experiencing a fraction of the disastrous impact the border crisis has caused Texas,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Mayor Bowser should stop attacking Texas for securing the border & demand Joe Biden do his job,” he added.

Though the Abbott-Ducey initiative was dubbed “political theater” in the beginning, it is quickly morphing into an excellent opportunity to highlight Democrat failures when it comes to our broken Southern Border.
