Fake MAGA Candidate Matt McCall Loses To Chip Roy In Texas

With exactly 18,000 votes, anti-establishment conservative Chip Roy beat the establishment-backed fake MAGA candidate Matt McCall for the Republican nomination in Texas’ 21st Congressional District. Roy is expected to easily beat his Democrat challenger in November.

To celebrate his win, Chip Roy celebrated with his family in the most Texas way possible: A family meal at Whataburger.

As Big League Politics previously reported, his failed opponent, Matt McCall attempted to campaign as a MAGA candidate, even having MAGA stickers on his yard signs. But while he claimed to be someone who would fight for the President’s agenda, he also enjoyed badmouthing the President, stating that he doesn’t want him to “watch his daughters.”

This led towards intense anger among Trump supporters, even prompting a response from Trump’s national spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, where she gave implied support for Chip Roy.

Chip Roy’s win is just another victory for the anti-establishment wing of the Republican party. Just last week, early Trump supporter Lou Barletta had a remarkable win in Pennsylvania. With more Primary elections coming up, things are looking good for Trump supporters.
