Illegal Alien Accused of Impregnating 11-Year-Old Girl
An illegal alien living in Arizona has been arrested after allegedly raping and impregnating an 11-year-old girl.
“In November 2018, investigators say the girl’s mother believed she was in a relationship with 20-year-old Carlos Cobo-Perez,” according to Fox10. “The girl stated he kissed her and gave her a ‘hickey’ on her neck.”
When detectives approached him about the relationship, Cobo-Perez told them he knew it was wrong and vowed to stay away from the girl. He continued to see her.
A police report said that on May 17, the girl was taken to a local children’s hospital where a pregnancy test came back positive. The girl said Cobo-Perez was the father. Upon his arrest, Cobo-Perez admitted to having sex with the girl in his car near her elementary school.
“Court paperwork states the parents provided a letter the victim stated Carlos gave her,” the report said. “In the letter, Cobo-Perez knew he could go to jail for having a relationship with the underage girl, but did not care.”
Fox10 identified the perpetrator as an illegal alien, but did not state his nationality or whether U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had placed a detainer on him.
Cobo-Perez was charged with aggravated assault and sexual conduct with a minor.
The heinous crime comes during a time of gridlock in Washington, D.C., as Democrats – and some Republicans – have blocked President Donald J. Trump’s immigration initiatives.
Big League Politics reported:
President Donald J. Trump has declared a national state of emergency, for which several heavily-blue states immediately sued his administration. Democrats refuse to budge on the issue, unwilling to secure America’s borders. As illegal border crossings surge, they blocked a meaningful amount of wall funding in the 2019 federal budget.
In what many conservatives see as a colossal failure, the Republican Congress, led by former Speaker Paul Ryan, current Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, failed to deliver wall funding to the president’s desk during all of 2017 and 2018, when Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House.
