An illegal alien from Mexico who allegedly killed three members of the same family while driving drunk was released on bail last week in Northern California.
Fortunately, Ismael Huazo-Jardinez, 33, was picked up shortly thereafter by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) according to KRCR. Paul Prince, a spokesman for the law enforcement entity, said that Huazo-Jardinez had been arrested and voluntarily returned to his native Mexico in 2011. It is unclear when he re-entered the United States.
Two weeks ago, Huazo-Jardinez allegedly slammed his vehicle into a trailer home while driving drunk.
“The accident killed Jose Pacheco, 38, Anna Pacheco, 34, and their son Angel Pacheco, 10,” according to the report. “The Pachecos’ 11-year-old daughter remains in critical condition.”
The senseless death comes as progress on securing America’s porous borders is slow in Washington, D.C. Lawmakers and President Donald J. Trump have not been able to come to an agreement on solving the illegal immigration crisis.
Big League Politics reported:
President Donald J. Trump has declared a national state of emergency, for which several heavily-blue states immediately sued his administration. Democrats refuse to budge on the issue, unwilling to secure America’s borders. As illegal border crossings surge, they blocked a meaningful amount of wall funding in the 2019 federal budget.
In what many conservatives see as a colossal failure, the Republican Congress, led by former Speaker Paul Ryan, current Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, failed to deliver wall funding to the president’s desk during all of 2017 and 2018, when Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House.
