Jen Psaki Has New Villain For Rising Prices-What was considered “Putin’s price hike” not more than a day ago, has somewhat miraculously morphed into a shameful attempt by the White House to smear Republicans.

Now, Psaki is blaming rising costs on Texas Governor Greg Abbott, slamming a new policy he implemented to combat the nation’s surge of illegal immigration into the U.S.

She claimed, “Governor Abbott’s unnecessary and redundant inspections of trucks transiting ports of entry between Texas and Mexico are causing significant disruptions to the food and automobile supply chains, delaying manufacturing, impacting jobs, and raising prices for families in Texas and across the country.”

“Local businesses and trade associations are calling on Governor Abbott to reverse this decision because trucks are facing lengthy delays exceeding 5 hours at some border crossings and commercial traffic has dropped by as much as 60 percent.” the White House spokesperson continued.

“The continuous flow of legitimate trade and travel and CBP’s ability to do its job should not be obstructed. Governor Abbott’s actions are impacting people’s jobs, and the livelihoods of hardworking American families,” Psaki concluded.

As previously reported, Abbott’s recent actions have been a direct response to the Biden administration ending the use of a pandemic-era policy that made it easier to expel illegal aliens.

The decision to do away with the “Title 42” policy came as a surprise to many, given that the COVID-19 pandemic is still raging across the globe according to to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Mask mandates are beginning to reemerge in places like Philadelphia, and even White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha admitted during an interview with “TODAY” that public transportation mask mandates are still “on the table.”

The CDC also just extended its mask mandates on planes for 15 days.

Abbott’s new policy requires state troopers to conduct additional inspections of commercial trucks entering Texas from Mexico in an effort to prevent illegal aliens from being smuggled into the U.S.

It’s worth noting that Abbott isn’t the only governor taking steps to combat the surge of illegal immigration into the U.S., as Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has also implemented a similar policy.

However, it appears that Psaki and the Biden administration are singling out Abbott for criticism while downplaying or ignoring Ducey’s actions.

Abbott has already begun shipping illegal immigrants to Washington D.C. to bring these increasingly damning border issues straight to U.S. lawmakers.

This is what the Texas Governor had to say about the first arrival of unlawful migrants at the U.S. capital on Wednesday.

“As the federal government continues to turn a blind eye to the border crisis, the State of Texas will remain steadfast in our efforts to fill in the gaps and keep Texans safe,” Abbott said.

“By busing migrants to Washington, D.C., the Biden Administration will be able to more immediately meet the needs of the people they are allowing to cross our border. Texas should not have to bear the burden of the Biden Administration’s failure to secure our border,” he continued.

What any of this has to do with America’s rising prices and record high inflation is far-reaching at best for Psaki and the rest of the Biden administration.

Fortunately, it’s quite clear from recent polling that most Americans see right through this desperate finger pointing game.
