TWITTER EXEC: We’re “Working Really Closely” on Censoring President Trump’s Tweets
Will the tech company attempt to silence POTUS?

A major technology platform known for its censorship of conservatives is now considering ways to censor President Donald J. Trump, according to one of its executives.
“One of the things we’re working really closely on with our product and engineering folks is, ‘How can we label that?'” said Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s global lead for legal, policy, trust, and safety.
She was responding to a question about whether Trump is immune from Twitter’s fascistic censorship rules, which mostly lead to right-wingers being de-platformed for Terms of Service violations. Gadde was conducting an on-stage interview with Amazon-owned blog The Washington Post, which recently spiked allegations of sexual assault against the Democrat Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, Justin Fairfax.

“How can we put some context around it so people are aware that that content is actually a violation of our rules and it is serving a particular purpose in remaining on the platform,” Gadde said.
Twitter’s perceived bias against conservatives has been well-documented.
Recently, Gadde appeared on the “Joe Rogan Experience” with CEO Jack Dorsey and journalist Tim Pool to discuss the allegations that the company is shutting down right wingers.
Pool easily dismantled Gadde’s denials of political censorship.
Big League Politics reported:
“You have an argument between two people, and you have a rule that enforces only one side of the ideology, and you’ve banned only one of those people,” Pool told Gadde.
The ideology in question was transgenderism. Twitter recently banned “misgendering” in its terms of service. Conservatives who point out the biological fact that men are men and women are women can now be booted from the platform, which is what happened to a woman whose account was banned.
“We have a rule that attempts to address what we have perceived to be instances of abuse or harassment,” Gadde said. “What I’m trying to say is not that you can’t have those viewpoints. If you’re taking those viewpoints and you’re targeting them at a specific person in a way that reflects your intent to abuse or harass them – ”
Rogan interrupted to ask specifically whether it was permissible on Twitter to say that a woman is biologically female.
“She responded with ‘men aren’t women, though,’” Pool said, referring to a woman who was banned from Twitter for arguing the biological basis of sex. “And that was her first – in the series of events that was what got her the suspension and the warning.”
Gadde said that instance was a first strike against the user, to which Pool asked why that would be a strike in the first place.
“Again – it’s like the context of the – I don’t, I don’t have all the Tweets in front of me. There were like 10 or 12 Tweets going back and forth and my understanding is that in the context of all of those she was misgendering a particular person,” Gadde said, faltering.
Pool fired back.
“So you’re having an individual who is debating a high-profile individual in her community, and she’s expressing her ideology versus hers, and you have opted to ban one of those ideologies.”

MeWe Goes Big Tech Authoritarian, Opts for Political Censorship
This is no different than a Big Tech platform.

Supposed Big Tech alternative MeWe is opting for the path of political censorship and repression, caving to demands of media leftists to censor right-leaning political content.
MeWe’s administrators confirmed they would close so-called ‘Stop the Steal’ groups and purge their content from its platform earlier this month.
MeWe styles itself as somewhat of a Facebook alternative, advertising user privacy and independence from a data surveillance business model. MeWe’s administrators have taken to signalling against real free speech social media platforms such as Parler and Gab, a thumb in the face of their largely anti-establishment user base, many of whom joined the service to begin with in pursuit of a Facebook alternative that doesn’t censor.
MeWe is NOT an "anything goes" site like Parler or Gab. MeWe's TOS is strict & clear (https://t.co/oJP1JvrxiZ)- haters, lawbreakers, violence inciters etc. are not welcome. We have an outstanding Trust & Safety team that works hard every day to investigate & remove TOS-violators
— MeWe (@mewe) January 10, 2021
An overwhelming majority of Americans who attended ‘Stop the Steal’ protests are peaceful and non-violent, with only a handful getting out of control during the January 6th raucous US Capitol riot. MeWe’s decision to implement political censorship en masse makes it no different than the worst Big Tech authoritarians, except for the deceptive marketing of a free speech social media platform.
In any event, a social media platform that bans arbitrarily defined “haters” is almost assured to have draconian anti-free speech policies. MeWe has opted for the path of a minuscule Big Tech clone in a betrayal of its own user base. Gab offers a wide range of social services without the politically correct censorship, and MeWe’s users should embrace it as the real home of free speech online.
