HUH? Matt Gaetz Helps Disgraced Globalist RINO Scott Taylor Attempt Return to Congress

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has gained a reputation as a Congressman who embodies “America First” principles, but he will be fundraising for a disgraced RINO from Virginia who hopes to regain a Congressional seat he lost in 2018 due to his campaign’s corrupt actions.

Gaetz will be appearing with former Congressman Scott Taylor on Thursday in Newport News, Va. for a “meet and greet” at 2nd Street, an American Bistro. There is also a private roundtable event with Gaetz and Taylor that is available to those willing to pay an unlisted price for access to the duo.

Taylor lost his 2nd District Congressional seat to former Navy commander Elaine Luria, a Democrat, in the 2018 mid-term elections after only one term in office. Luria defeated Taylor by a 51 to 48 margin, as voters rejected Taylor following an embarrassing petitions scandal.

Taylor’s team was accused by Democrats of forging ballot signatures for a third-party candidate in a desperate attempt to split the vote. Judge Gregory Rupe ruled that the concerns of the lawsuit filed by Democrats were valid, and the independent candidate was thrown off of the ballot as a result. Taylor’s staffer would eventually be indicted for campaign fraud as a result of the actions taken for the campaign.

“Scott Taylor is a disgrace,” said Waverly Wood, Founder of the Virginia Freedom Caucus. “He’s an embarrassment to the party. This is exactly what you would expect from the RINO establishment.”

Big League Politics has reported on Taylor’s sad history as a RINO in Congress, supporting open borders and attending a Soros-funded globalist summit.

“This bottom feeding Washington group, NumbersUSA, is being completely disingenuous with this BS Ad. This is a group that raises money off people’s fears,” Taylor said of the anti-illegal immigration organization that pointed out his support for amnesty.

Taylor also spoke in favor of foreign aid to the Soros-funded Global Citizen summit in Sept. 2017.

“Good evening fellow Global Citizens,” he said. “It’s great to be here and an honor to represent Virginia.”

“Now is not the time to cut foreign aid,” Taylor said during his speech that lasted about a minute.

His appearance at the blatantly globalist event can be seen here:

The connections between Gaetz and Taylor go back several years, as the men have campaigned with each other and exchanged contributions between their respective campaign committees.

Open Secrets shows that the Friends Of Matt Gaetz committee donated $2,000 to Taylor’s campaign to help the disgraced RINO get his Congressional seat back. Records retrieved from FEC.gov also show that Scott Taylor for Congress gave Gaetz’s Congressional campaign $2,000 in Aug. 2018.

It is impossible to know Gaetz’s motives, as he did not respond to the request from Big League Politics to explain his associations with the RINO Taylor.
