Twitter Briefly Suspends Account of Pro-Life Movie ‘Unplanned’

One of America’s largest tech companies briefly suspended the account of a pro-life themed movie Saturday, but unsuspended it after outcry from other users.

“Trying to figure out why the account has been suspended. We need answers,” said “Unplanned” actress Ashley Bratcher.

“Unplanned” is the true story of a manager of a Planned Parenthood clinic who turned into an pro-life activist during her work at the abortion clinic.

Nearly an hour after Bratcher Tweeted about the suspension, sparking fierce backlash from Twitter users, the movie’s official account announced that it was back online.

“Thank you everyone for your support in letting & know when our Unplanned Movie account was recently suspended without cause. We are back and excited for the great response we’re getting in theaters this weekend,” it said.

Twitter is known for its censorship of conservative thought, and those who promulgate conservative viewpoints.

Right wing personalities Gavin McInnes, Laura Loomer, Roger Stone, and many others have been banned from the platform completely. Last week, Big League Politics reported that Twitter was looking into censoring President Donald J. Trump.

A major technology platform known for its censorship of conservatives is now considering ways to censor President Donald J. Trump, according to one of its executives.

“One of the things we’re working really closely on with our product and engineering folks is, ‘How can we label that?’” said Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s global lead for legal, policy, trust, and safety.

She was responding to a question about whether Trump is immune from Twitter’s fascistic censorship rules, which mostly lead to right-wingers being de-platformed for Terms of Service violations. Gadde was conducting an on-stage interview with Amazon-owned blog TheWashington Postwhich recently spiked allegations of sexual assault against the Democrat Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, Justin Fairfax.

“How can we put some context around it so people are aware that that content is actually a violation of our rules and it is serving a particular purpose in remaining on the platform,” Gadde said.

Despite the evidence to the contrary, Twitter still claims that it unbiased towards conservatives.
